I can't believe I did it again. I lived in Island Lake for 11 yrs and went to the Culver's on 176 never got bad food never had a missed order, probably ate there at least 3-4 times per week family of 5 bill always about 55-60 bucks no complaints. Then I moved to Cary and started going to Culver's in Fox River Grove have been for 2 1/2 yrs now. After many complaints about fish not right due to rancid oil (I think) as a 56 yr old cook. Also many times sides, cutlery, butter and roll, and even entire sandwiches were missed. After having many issues I vowed to not go to this establishment any longer. Did not go to said restaurant for almost 9 months then on Valentines Day this year 2023 the wife decided she wanted Walleye so begrudgingly I agreed. Big mistake again her dinner came with no utensils, no bread and butter, no Cole slaw, no and I was missing my fries and curds. Upon calling they did not answer Kinda Ruined Valentines Day Dinner. Called the following Day to be told by a manager after Explaining the recent and previous issues only to be told the $50 meal I purchased would be compted with a couple coupons I was flabbergasted really 15-20 dollars of coupons for a place that can't get my order correct...... NO THANK YOU !!!!! I WILL NOT and WOULD NOT GO TO THIS CULVERS IF you want there notoriously good Food!!! Lost about 150-200 a week in business from this 1 family !!!!! Thanks for the AWESOME WALLEYE Island Lake Il. Culver's I will come visit your store when...
Read moreIf you want your food within half an hour go somewhere else. Every time i come here i wait at least that long and all i order are cheese fries and sometimes chicken tenders.. ridiculous. I'm here to edit my previous opinion so from here on is my updated review. The food no longer takes 30 minutes to receive, which is great because it's the only place other than McDonald's open early enough and close enough for me to get it on my lunch break. However, now that they get you your food in a timely manner they have shifted to crumpling up the cheese cups so if you order and pay for cheese sauce, you only get half of what you paid for. Even after I asked them to make sure it's full after this happened probably a dozen times, it still was 3/4 full at best. The only reason this bothers me so much is that I paid extra for it. If you're paying extra for something, you should receive it without having to ask. Also if you're hard of hearing, don't use the drive thru, their speakers are very quiet and I struggle to hear...
Read moreNever again. We just went through the drive thru. Ordered a couple of burgers, fries and drinks - not a large order. Paid and pulled to the curb as per Culvers typical drive thru. Then proceeded to wait for 20 minutes while at least 6-8 cars ordered at the drive thru and pulled up behind us. The employee who (after we had been waiting for 20 min) walked the food had an armful of bags and we watched as he delivered food all at once to all cars waiting. Our food had clearing been sitting around as it was cold when it arrived. I've never been to a fast food restaurant that delivers orders to customers in batches. At most drive thrus, you order, pay and immediately receive your food. Definitely never waited for 20 minutes Bizarre, not worth the wait as the food is mediocre at best. Haven't had great experiences at Culvers but will never go back. Seems poorly managed and generally...
