Anthony's Pizza — Restaurant in Frackville

Ordered food to be delivered at 2:20pm. Was told it would be 45 min to 1 hour for delivery. At 3:30pm called Anthony's (and hour and 10 minutes after placing order) to find out where our food was. We were told "the driver left a while ago, she'll be there soon."

We Did not receive our food until 4: 20pm which was 50 minutes after the driver allegedly left to delivery our food and 2 hours exactly from the time we ordered.) The delivery person was a male and not a female as was stated by the person we spoke to at Anthony's on the phone. The delivery driver said, "I'm sorry for being so late" and was gone as soon as he got the cash in hand. I ended up having to reheat everything we ordered which was a cheesesteak, a cheese steak wrap, breadsticks, french fries, and breaded broccoli bites. The french fries and breaded broccoli bites were still disgusting even after reheat. The lettuce for the wrap was on the side and not in the wrap. No special order was placed in order for them to do that. We called Anthony's to report our dissatisfaction with their food and delivery timing. We explained this was not the first time food was late however this was the longest it ever had been and the worse it's ever been in terms of temperature and taste. We asked for a manager and was told to hold on which we did. After 5 minutes of being on hold, a man answered the phone saying he was not a manager but was working his way up to being the manager. He stated they do not have a manager at that time. He offered a 10% discount on our next order. So basically $4 is what was offered for them delivering disgusting cold food and missing an item that was ordered and paid for as well after waiting a whole two 2 hours waiting!? If that wasnt bad enough, the fact that we know that our food was in a vehicle for at least 50 minutes before being delivered to our house is the icing that takes the cake! A $4 discount on our next order is a ridiculous gesture and entirely laughable! We will not be using the $4 discount and I will be reporting Anthony's Pizzeria in Frackville to the better business bureaus and posting my review on YELP as well as other review sites.

NO APOLOGIES WERE RECEIVED BY THE HOPEFUL ONE DAY MANAGER. HE SHOWED NO EMPATHY AT ALL FOR OUR MISFORTUNE AND HOPE ANTHONY'S HR SERIOUSLY REEVALUATE THEIR INTENTIONS TO PROMOTE HIM TO MANAGER! ANTHONY'S PIZZERIA'S CURRENT TREATMENT IF THEIR CUSTOMERS IS SIMPLY HORRIFIC!

AS THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME OUR FOOD WAS LATE NOR THE FIRST TIME WE RECEIVED HOT ITEMS COLD AND ENTIRELY UNEATIBLE, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT OR ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! I CAN'T EVEN CALL IT A PIZZERIA. ITS A VERY BAD EXAMPLE IF A BUSINESS! A REAL BUSINESS PUTS THEIR CUSTOMERS FIRST AND FIXES WHAT THEY SCREWED UP, NONE OF WHICH ANTHONY'S DID TO 0KEASE THIS NOW...

Well I definitely did wait to write this and I should not have at all. After taste testing all of the food from my surrounding area and most of it either making me sick, being wrong, over priced, being bad or a combination of everything. I must say this place has the best food! I'm not saying that because I have low standards I do not. I am saying this from a standing point of expecting to receive what I ordered and to be able to validate the price of what I paid for. This place everytime amazing and not just once or twice I am talking 10 or 15 times still amazing. Let me start by saying their pizza it will not be beaten I'll put money on it! Amazing pizza, amazing chicken parmesan, amazing jalapeno poppers!!! Their burgers oh my Gods they are perfect just hands down amazing. I must make one thing clear as well no I don't work for them or anything at all I just feel like if you do good work you should be recognized for it and this place goes above and beyond great food! Trudy don’t understand how this places manages to keep itself in business. My guess is most people just don’t have anywhere else in the area to order food from. Food is waaay below basic and not at all good or worth the price. Hoagie buns are way too thick, if you prefer your hoagies to be 90% dough, you’ll love em. Service is down right atrocious, most of the girls at the front counter don’t know what they’re doing. It’s literally exhausting and just so incredibly unbearinggggg needing to deal with these girls taking my order that struggle to communicate a basic 3rd grade sentence. Delivery is usually 2 hours plus, even if the delivery is 4 blocks away. If they tell you an hour for pick up, expect to wait an extra 45 minutes.
