Springfield Cafe — Restaurant in Franconia

I know this sounds crazy because it is a little unassuming convenient store inside the Inova building, but they literally have the best breakfast in all of NOVA. I get the cheese omelet with seasoned potatoes and toast, and it is soooo good. There is a thin layer of egg with tons of filling. The potatoes are amazing, and even the toast tastes amazing. I never bother with toast/bread anywhere. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, but most importantly delicious! It is run by Mr. And Mrs. Lee. They are super sweet, and get to know their customers. The lunch/dinner entrees are amazing as well. I have had their baked ziti, vegetables, stuffed peppers, steak and cheese, and many other sandwiches. Everything is delicious, and I am picky with food. They also have the thick seasoned fries which are delicious. I stop in everytime I have an appt. My daughter always makes me bring her breakfast back, because she loves it so much, and she doesn't like breakfast food much. Their prices are shockingly low. For the omelet platter, which is a ton of food, they charge around $5.99. They only charge $4.99 for the ginormous pancakes and a meat. I would happily pay upwards of $15. The food is so much better than Ihop, Bob and Ediths, and the other breakfast places around. I see there are definitely some Karens that are haters, and have unreasonable expectations in...

Overpriced for no reason. Picked up a egg and cheese on crossiant for 4.99. I was expecting a decent size sandwich.. it was small, the bottom was burnt and barley and egg in it. Then there was a sign posted that 5 is the minimum for credit cards, understandable. I picked up a roll of candy (it was small). It was 2.99!?!?!?!?. Then I started asking the prices. Everything was more then double the price. Nothing was labeled and it honestly looked like the clerk was making up the prices as it goes. Never...

A family member was in the ER. I was hungry and decided to try this little café. I ordered the the roast beef BLT. The man was really polite and said that he hoped I enjoyed it. That sandwich was AWESOME It was probably the BEST sandwich I've ever eaten. It was loaded with roast beef and a good amount of bacon. It had just the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. If I could I would give them 10 stars. If I'm in the Kingstown area again during their business hours, I will definitely eat...
