Went in to buy a standing mirror, one of the employees (black male with dreads -I didnāt see a name tag so have to go by descriptions) showed such terrible attitude like I donāt know maybe he thought weāre gonna take the mirror and run out or whatever lol Anyways, very rude and terrible attitude, not what you expect when your shopping at a store like this. Long story short, the mirror had a dent and a scratch on the front of the frame and the other guy (perhaps asian) at the back said take it to the front they will discount it by 10%. When we took it all the way to the front the black guy first said I donāt see anything wrong with this!! And then when I pointed it out and he saw it was very bad he said Iāll only do 5% markdown which was ridiculous. Buying at a store you expect an item to be in new condition and free of any visible damage. This guy obviously thinks otherwise and has no respect for customers. Corporate (regional manager) should really look into this kind of practice and behavior. The store had a lot of paintings and mirrors as well as frames that were damaged in display due to mishandling and this doesnāt include the ones that were already marked down due to damage! I feel they donāt really care about inventory and customers arenāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife, who is four months pregnant, attempted to buy a vase at your shop last Sunday morning. Due to the vase's high placement and her pregnancy preventing her from reaching it, she sought assistance, waiting at the spot for over 10 minutes without help. When she approached the cashier for aid, a woman claiming to be the manager, named Jennifer with long grey hair, insisted my wife retrieve the vase herself or continue waiting there. Despite my wife's explanation of the wait, Jennifer rudely refused to sell the vase and asked my wife to step aside, showing disrespect and making discriminatory remarks. This behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable for a customer service manager at such a large department store. My wife, a longtime local customer who has spent substantial amounts of money and referred many others to support Homesense, will no longer patronize your store due to this discrimination. We will also inform our relatives, friends, and clients about this incident involving the mistreatment of Asian customers by a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery frustrating experience. I have been looking for a specific chair and called 10 stores before I found it. 2 hour away from my house. I called to let them know weād be picking it up but GPS was showing 9:35 and they close at 9:30. Manager said she couldnāt wait for us bc she would have to for everyone. I get that, and said okay. My husband was determined to get there before 9:30. We pull up and try the doors at 9:28. Already locked. Seems if they knew we were already pressed for time and rushing to get there they would at least keep the doors opened until their scheduled close time. A lot of emotion here bc Iāve been searching for this chair everywhere. Just hoped for...
