Ordered food for delivery using grubhub. 2 hours after the order was placed I called because it had not arrived. The restaurant brushed me off, acted like they could have cared less and said I needed to call grub hub because it isn't their problem, when I asked if it had been sitting for over an hour and a half they said yes and their is nothing they could do about it. WOW! $42.00 for (1) Large Pizza and an Order of Mozz sticks, and that is your response? Nice. Very unprofessional, will never go back to a place that doesn't care about their customer base and is so blatant with the fact.
Let me reiterate that the 1-star review, as stated in the review itself, is due to how your staff handled my phone call to your establishment during this issue. I understand GrubHub was late, and that is a separate issue entirely, my 1-star review is due to the fact that when I called and spoke to your staff, rather then offering to remake my food, they where 100% fine with sending me food knowing it had been sitting for over an hour and a half. That's poor customer service in my opinion. I work in IT and when a client has a problem or complaint I do my best to resolve it for them, even if it is due to a 3rd party vendor. I don't put it on the vendor and tell the customer too bad so sorry, if I did I wouldn't have any customers. The proper approach here in my opinion would have been, again, for your staff to acknowledge that GrubHub dropped the ball and did not show up for 2 hours, but, to also offer to remake my food fresh rather then being okay with sending an order that had been sitting their for that length of time out the door. Are you telling me, as the business owner, that you would rather save a dollar and send that order, rather then keep a customer happy? Regardless of whose fault it was, neither GrubHub nor your establishment did anything to show me they cared about my business. That is why you have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just found DaVinci's on Frankfort restaurant. I was so excited my husband took me right out . arrived about 4:30 before things got to busy. The smell was so good this would probably become my home away from home. We ordered the fresh chips Italian salad and large sicilian pizza with chips served first. We waited and waited waitress came with salad and said can I leave this chips are coming out. We waited I stopped and asked her my husband was almost finished with the salad. She said Im getting them now . It was not even half a basket and they were chewy and not hot. Pizza came out right behind it. I reached for pizza it was luke warm. We decided to try it . I told my husband this is not right he said its what we ordered. I got the waitress on the start of my second piece I told her this is warm not hot. She said I dont understand I saw it come out. Thought that was odd she didnt even bring it to our table. She offered to heat it I told her get me a box i would take it home. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'll preface this by saying that I visited when we were about a month into the quarantine time, so normal life business might be different. My fiance ordered from here through a delivery service, and he said it was delicious but slow. Thinking it might have been the fault of the delivery service, we decided to try doing a pick up order. We called, ordered, and were told it would be 30 minutes. That was fine by us. We arrived at the store after 30 minutes had passed. The sign on the door said to call and get in line, so we got in line and called to tell them that we had arrived to pick up the pizza we had ordered. The girl on the phone seemed really confused, and after a few minutes said that someone would come out to give us the pizza. We took that to mean get out of the line and wait in front of the door. After another 10 minutes of sitting in front of the store, I went to the door and waved. A server brought a pizza to the door, but when he opened the door, all he had to say was that he was looking for Nancy and that he would have to help me later. I returned to my car, and we waited another 20 minutes while watching the server bring pizza to other cars sitting in front of the store. At this point, we had waited an hour for pizza that was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes, and we had no idea if we were waiting in the right spot or not. We ended up leaving. An hour and a half after we placed the order, I received a text from a number that wasn't the store number saying that our pizza was ready. Maybe it's just that they haven't figured out their curbside system or that they were unusually busy, but I wouldn't have minded waiting if the store had simply communicated with us about the wait time or...
