If you’re on the hunt for the perfect gluten-free pizza, look no further than Safratellos II As someone with gluten sensitivity, finding a place that caters to my dietary needs without compromising on taste can be a challenge, but this local gem has truly nailed it. Now, let’s talk about the pizza itself. The gluten-free crust at Safratellos II is a game-changer. It strikes the ideal balance between crispy and chewy, with a delightful hint of flavor that sets it apart from other gluten-free options I’ve tried. It holds up beautifully under the weight of the generous toppings, creating a pizza experience that is both satisfying and delicious. Speaking of toppings, the selection at Safratellos II is fantastic. They offer a wide range of fresh and high-quality ingredients, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Whether you prefer classic combinations or more adventurous flavors, you won’t be disappointed. The sauces are flavorful, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the toppings are generous, making each bite a burst of pure pizza joy. If you’re searching for a local spot that offers gluten free pizza, delivering an incredible pizza experience, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Safratellos II a visit. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed

Pizza looked great but it tasted 'unique'. Service was awesome on the pickup side. A tad overpriced ($32 for a 13" 3 topping thin crust) for what i ate. I am methodically trying every thin crust pizza within 15 min drive from where moved down here recently . . . this place was on my checklist. I ordered sausage, green pepper, and mushroom. All i can think is that this particular pizza is an acquired taste for a select group of locals as it would definitely be a flavor outlier on a pizza scatterplot. The cheese looks and tastes weird and can't possibly be all mozzarella. There was hardly any sausage on the pizza and I struggled to find only a couple of pieces underneath the mountain of canned mushrooms. The sauce had a strikingly unique taste . . . kind of like spaghetti-0's. Crust was marginal but okay . . . it had some characteristic that hinted of prefab somehow. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Anyhow, this pizza was not for me but might be worth a try to see if it is for you. I'm truly curious of other's opinions who try it for the FIRST time. Recommended for the adventurous only.

Last time I had Sanfratellos was in 1994 when they still had their Glenwood restaurant. This rating is strictly on their thin crust pizza. Finally had a chance to try their pizza again after 30 years in their Frankfort location and it is the same as I had remembered. This pizza is brilliant! The sauce is very good and balanced with italian spices, which I really appreciate. The ingredients are of highest quality from the cheese to the mushroom and pepperoni. The crust was crisp at the edges and nicely doughy in center to hold up against the ample ingredients on the pizza. Looking forward to visiting this place soon. The owner (Mike) and staff are friendly and service was quick. Will need to try Sanfratellos new dining spot called Chill House just doen the street.
