Bamboo House 珍宝楼 (New Management) — Restaurant in Franklin

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, I had a rather disappointed experience. From the moment I entered, I noticed the lack of service and poor customer experience. Rather than being greeted and shown to a table, I was left to figure it out on my own. It was an unpleasant surprise to learn that payment had to be made upfront before being seated. To make matters worse, even basic amenities like water came at an additional cost.

Furthermore, the quality of the dishes served was notably poor. The flavors were lackluster, and the presentation did not meet my expectations. I was given the wrong dish, and there was no apology or attempt to rectify the mistake.

Adding to the discomfort, despite the sweltering 86-degree Fahrenheit weather outside, the restaurant failed to turn on the air conditioning. This lack of consideration for the comfort of their patrons made the overall dining experience even more unpleasant.

I wish zero stars was an option. I have ordered from them twice. The first time they were very slow to deliver and once the food was delivered it was lukewarm. Against my better judgement I decided to give them a second chance and ordered lunch today. The food was supposed to arrive at 12:15. When 12:30 rolled around I called to check on the status and I was told it was being bagged up and headed my way, allow 7-8 minutes. 30 minutes later my food arrived, again lukewarm. Once I got the bag open I discovered I was missing an eggroll. I called to inform the business (who played dumb and didn't seem to care about the issues). It was a full 45 minutes before they showed up with the missing eggroll. It was less than satisfying and tasted slightly like dishwater.

Don't waste your time folks! Unless you enjoy waiting 2 hours to eat...
