I recently went to Bamboo house and had a great experience overall. The food was flavorful, with a variety of traditional Chinese dishes that were well-prepared. While the dishes were enjoyable, the standout of the experience was definitely the service. The person on the phone who helped us with our order was incredibly professional and attentive. They took the time to listen to our preferences and made thoughtful recommendations. When we arrived, the service continued to impress. The staff was friendly and efficient, checking in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It was clear that the team takes pride in providing excellent service, and that made the meal much more enjoyable. Walked in sober with my gf and she asked what they served for drinks, they said just soda even tho there was a cooler full of alcohol. The guy at the front desk told her to grab whatever is in the cooler. She sat down with a corona and the waitress came and immediately took the beer away without a reason...She didn't explain it or have a legitimate response for why she couldn't have a beer. Instantly regretted going there and did not want to give them my money. No wonder they were empty when we came. Walked out and went 400 feet down the road to hang tai chinese cuisine. Wayyyy better, more personable, and the food was great. I can't imagine bamboo house will stay in business much longer with service like that. terrible experience and even worse people. Hope they go under....

When the delivery driver arrived I had less money in my wallet than I had thought, which resulted in a $1.50 tip instead of what I would usually give, $3. I apologized and explained and instead of taking it in stride the driver yelled and swore at me and told me that next time I better pick up because he was never coming back. When I replied that I would call his boss he yelled that "She won't care". It turns out that he was correct in that as I called twice and asked to speak to the manager, was told that she was not available and would call me back. She never did and the first time I called I could hear her in the background (I've been there before and knew her voice). One star for beyond terrible customer service and sheer...
