Central Pizza — Restaurant in Franklin

I'm not sure what's going on over at central, but honestly the quality of food and service has been slowly sliding. I've been ordering at Central for 3 years now and have always enjoyed their food and their service, but the past 6 months I have noticed things going down hill.

I stopped ordering Fish and Chips because the fish always arrived incredibly over cooked ( to the point of being to hard to chew )

50% of the time I have to call them and point out an item the forgotten

The food has gotten VERY greasy. Yes, I know it's a Pizza place, food isn't going to be health short of a Salad grease is going to be a thing, but the levels we are getting grease in the food is approaching uneatable sometimes. where it was never like that before.

Just today I found a piece of Wax paper used to wrap subs and wrap inside my Sandwhich ( I said sandwich now sub )

Delivery drivers have been rude on more then one occasion in the past 6 months

This is only a few examples. There has been more. Like I said, for the past 2 1/2 years I have absolutely loved Central and have made it my go to Pizza place, but as it is, I might start looking elsewhere if this decline continues. I hope whatever is going on is able to work itself out. I really don't want to walk away...

I really do not write reviews, pretty sure this is my first one about any restaurant experience. I paid for but also turned down my order without saying why in public as I am really not one to make a scene or draw attention. I’ve worked a lot of retail as well as working as a waiter for 2 years when I was younger and older than the staff today. I’m really empathetic to the environment they’re working in... it’s also warm, hygiene has never been so scrutinized. It’s hard work, pay is unforgiving especially when you account for how rude customers can be. Tonight I ordered ahead of time, showed up to pickup to find 1/4 of the staff not wearing mouth/face coverings. I then noticed two not wearing coverings at all closest to food coming out of the pies coming out of the oven. This is a tough time and it’s a young/stressed staff (I assume). I paid, the polite lady asked why I would not accept and I felt bad to make a scene so I just asked her to donate or save for the staff later (trust me when you’re working in a lower profile job a gift like that is always great) . You guys have a great reputation and I hope to return... but for now I’ll go...

I have been coming here for a while and have not had any issues until last night. I came here to get take out food with friends and we ordered a large cheese pizza, 3 meatball parm pastas, and an eggplant parm toasted sub. We get our order and we come to find out after we began eating that they messed up our order and gave us 3 eggplant parm pastas instead of meatball parm. We called and complained about it and the person on the phone told us they would remake it. We went back and got the correct pastas afterwards. Later that night one of my friends began having severe stomach pains and was throwing up, she had to go to the hospital because she got food poisoning from the eggplant not being cooked correctly. Overall it was a terrible experience and we will never ever come back to this place again. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS and go somewhere else cleaner, and with better food...
