Mac City — Restaurant in Franklin

First time visiting Mac City but definitely wont be the last. Good menu to choose from with many choices. I had the Mac Manzo which was excellent! My wife, who's a vegetarian, had a Mac and cheese with broccoli and plant based chicken in an Alfredo style sauce. She loved hers and I tried it also. Very good! My daughter has Mac Pizza which had a different blend of cheeses than mine with pepperoni on top. Also very good. My friend had the classic mac and he raved about how good that was also. Portion size was good, we ordered smalls. We also had cheesy fries which were very good. Judging from what I experienced, the chef uses many different blends of cheeses depending on what menu item is which makes each one unique. They aren't making a huge pot of generic Mac and cheese and then altering it with a couple ingredients to try and make it different. This place is a must for lovers of the greatest comfort food ever. So I ordered delivery the other day. I was having an absolute trash day and couldn't decide between my craving for Tikka Masala and Mac and Cheese. This place has Tikka Masala Mac, which is basically the perfect way to upgrade your bad day.

I asked for super spicy, since I like to feel the sins of my under seasoned childhood burned into oblivion.

Spice level was pretty good, I found myself wanting this Tikka Mac daily after, so I got it today and asked for even spicier and picked it up myself.

The staff recognized my order from door dash and asked me questions about the spice levels on the last dish and my preferences.

Honestly I loved the attention to detail from the staff recognizing my pickup order from a door dash delivery almost a week ago. I can rarely get places to give me food as spicy as I want it, and I appreciate that they care about delivering on that seasoning game.

This place is fantastic. The mac and cheese is exquisite. I'm sure the other items on the menu are good but honestly the thing that I drive 30+ minutes to eat is always that golden, beautiful tin tub of noodles and coagulated milk. I always leave full and happy. Make sure you eat light before you come here. The staff is fantastic, whenever my girlfriend and I come they're always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to go above and beyond expectation (Hi Naveen!). I love it here, whenever I'm having a rough time in life I know I can come here and I'll feel better.
