Not thrilled. The chips and salsa are important to me. The chips were okay (thick though) but the salsa has a strange flavor to it that was not at all to my liking. Very small salsa cups and an additional cup of salsa was going to be charged for. Fajita meat was decent but lacking in flavor profile. The grilled onions were swimming in oil. Same with grilled squash & cucumbers. I've never seen those in a fajita plate and I don't like them. There was a lot of oil used to cook the meat and veggies. They give you more fajita meat than you can fit on 3 tortillas that came with the plate and then charged me $2 for 3 more tortillas. $18 bucks for steak fajitas but little tiny spots of sour cream and guacamole. The guacamole was short of a few ingredients that would have given it flavor - quite bland. The service was a tad lacking. I am used to having the waitress ask us if we need drink refills and if we'd like more chips and salsa. Not to be. The margaritas and other concoctions looked very good but I rarely drink these days. In fairness, none of the Mexican restaurants in Franklin NC would stay in business very long in the deep south. You can go down to Senior Fiesta in Gainesville GA to find more what is more similar to what works much better for most people. If you like this place however I would never suggest my preferences should affect your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst margaritas Iāve ever had. House margarita(frozen) had both my husband and I making involuntary sour faces. My husband ordered the Cadillac (frozen), I had a sip and thought it was good, so I then asked to exchange the House for the Cadillac and was told I would still have to pay for the House Margarita with the reason given being that they just made it and I had taken a drink from it. How was I supposed to know it was so bad without tasting it? In any case I ordered the Cadillac replacement despite having to pay for both and while it did taste good both my husband and I left feeling as though there may have been no alcohol in them(and I personally am normally a bit of a lightweight). By the end of the dinner the manager changed his mind and decided not to charge us for the house margarita after all but by then the experience had already been ruined. Also whatās up with it being bright as a crayon? On another note, the pork in the carnitas tacos was so dry I actually coughed/gagged at one point. I will say the tortillas seemed homemade, in a good way, but thatās about all they had...
