Went in there set at the counter and listen as to the employees argued. I said excuse me can I get some service here instead of listening to you argue. So the waitress that was arguing with whoever else took my order. Kept saying I got you I got you. Serving my food to me she says is there anything else. I thought she was having a bad day so I said smile and she gave me a stupid smile and a pose. She said that good enough. I normally give at least $5 at those places because I know they don't make that much money. Cuz people are cheap on their tips but I've been in the business. She's lucky she got $2 from me for her attitude. I wish somebody would put more butter on the bread than just in the middle. It wasn't even really toast - ed. The Grits were thick and dry. Did not have that creamy flavor like they should have. And butter was not helping them. Will I go back there. I hope I remember that one so I don't go back there. I did not enjoy my breakfast. And the bathrooms could be cleaner. Last year I went to a different Waffle House and I enjoyed the Grits so much. I gave the waitress $5 bill to give to the Cook just because those grits were wonderful. My breakfast bill was around $7.50. and I gave the waitress a $10.tip. Because she was courteous all the time and the food was excellent...
Read moreHard to place this low review on one specific thing. When my group went there early in the morning there were so many warning signs that it wouldn't be a good experience. Most of the tables were dirty even though the eatery was empty and the server was sitting down with her phone out. The cook was also surfing the web and both glanced up at us as we walked in and then immediately went back to their phones. After an awkward amount of time the hostess stood up to show us to our table, sitting down we were able to see beer caps on the floor our table and others. The restaurant was in obvious disrepair and you could tell the cleaning was being neglected. Service was slow and somehow our food was served cold even though we were the only people in the building aside from the staff. I'm honestly surprised I did not fall ill after eating there, and was happy to finally get my check. I had then realized that the amount I would be paying for this experience was also disappointing. I would not revisit this business if given the...
Read moreEx server there. Morning staff and an unrushed over night staff are the ones you want. Avoid the late morning early evening staff especially a girl named Jessica. She likes to bring her kids in and they beg for money from her customers. Busiest friday night to monday morning so don't attempt to call to go, we are literally screaming out orders to be heard over the weekend drunk crowd. Once had 45 people come in at once missed 3 to go orders being called in. And they were a drunk crowd always moving around and they all ordered omelettes, so the pans had to be cleaned and seasoned between each order. So please dont blame us when we aren't happy to be there. The cooks barely get over $250. And the highest the servers get at most AT MOST 40 bucks a week on paycheck. They like to assume we're getting a lot of tips. The lowest check i got was around xmas (we get no days off, we miss no holidays. Had one of the servers grandbabies die and she was back in the next day). And that was 4 dollars. I had made 40 bucks in...
