The first time we came - the owner was friendly and polite. The gyros were great. We decided to return to have lunch. However our experience was awful. The woman which I think is the co owner was not very pleasant. We asked her a question and she appeared to be annoyed that we asked a question. Which I turned to my husband and told him- it seems that we have bothered her. Her affect was flat and she seemed detached. When She brought out food - there was no eye contact. When we thanked her for bringing our food - she did not say your “welcome” instead she grunted. Who does that? Oh well - we won’t be returning to the establishment. We don’t deserve to be treated as if we were a nuisance. What a shame - food is quite tasty. We are sure that we will find another location where patrons are...
Read moreWife and I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. It has been a while since we've been there with our kids years ago. Started off with a couple of appetizers- mushrooms and cheese sticks. They came to the table hot and delicious. For our entrees we had eggplant Parmesan and chicken parmesan. As it turns out I was supposed to order the subs, but, I misheard my wife, LOL. Those were the subs that we used to order every time we went there. The dinners were even better than the subs. Plates were good-sized resulting in us both having to take some of them home with us. Read moreI've been a patron of this place for over 20 years. I go here at least once a month when I live in the area. The best fresh cut and fries to be had on this side of the Rappahannock River. This place is a gem to me as much as George Washington's childhood home, just a stone's throw away. I recommend the steak special. Honestly, I get that sandwich each time I go.
