N1 Basketball — Restaurant in Freehold

N1 not only is a great program but it is filled with a family like atmosphere. Pat has been coaching my daughter for 4 years now and I have watched her grow in so many ways on and off the court. Pat not only coaches and trains his players in basketball, he also mentors them by teaching and instilling life skills and values to carry with them. The players work hard, they are pushed to do their best and to persevere to go beyond their limits. Practices are organized, thorough, and effective. When it comes to games the players are well prepared and ready to play their best. Coach Pat always has the players best interest in mind and goes the extra mile to help them be successful. These young athletes have learned how to become leaders, gained better communication skills, are disciplined, conditioned, and all have love and passion for the game!

In a very short time that we have worked with Coach Pat, he has proven that he is one of the best instructors, coaches and mentors I’ve ever been around, for any sport. He effectively uses all of the team practice or clinic time with ZERO down time for kids to fool around. It’s very evident after watching just one session, that he gets the most out of his players by displaying a high level of basketball knowledge, practical drills, hands on skill demonstrations, integrated conditioning, positive reinforcement and player accountability. All of this while maintaining the players respect and focus. He is approachable for players to talk to and he is willing to go the extra mile to help them succeed.

I cannot say enough great things about N1. The organization has the most incredible coaches who have a growth mindset, work with every style player, and push kids from exactly where they are to their highest potential. They understand the different needs, styles and ways to reach every player in the most supportive yet rigorous way. They have high expectations and they achieve it while balancing fun, teamwork, respect and tons of energy. Whether it is one of their skill based camps (amazing), a summer league or part of the team, there is no better experience out there.
