I had no idea what the little town of Fremont had in plate for us, but let me tell you something, just do yourself a favor and trust me. 12 min from interstate is all you need to get to heaven's in Earth breakfast little place: Billy's. Everything (everything) we had there was delicious, fresh, unique, mom-made-it-for-me style and taste. I had the french toast and the sausage patties (from the local butcher's table to your plate fresh, the real deal) and the french toast. Everyone at the table was so pleased I have something to brag about for days!!! (We take road trips and support the local diners and restaurants whenever we can) just a quick Google research in our way to PA and Virginia from Florida. Honor mention to the cheesecake we had to take to go (portions are plentiful) it was THE BEST fresh and creamy (you gotta try it!) I have to mention, in this trip we had my very (second now) favorite breakfast place in Chicagoland as usual and no compare! this is such a hidden gem. The menu is very simple yet everything you would want and made with the most care and delicious HIGH quality ingredients. As a multi cultural, well traveled group and bunch of foodies we know a bit about good food....this is it! Almost forgot to mention: they all sit together after they are done with business and eat, we personally thought it was the most beautiful thing(Thank you for not rushing us and let us see that) but it makes sense because the service is so good! 9-9-2024 I recently visited Billy’s Diner, and the difference under the new management is night and day! The previous owner was notorious for slow service and a lackluster attitude, but the new team is stepping up in all the right ways.

From the moment you walk in, it’s clear they are serious about improving. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure every customer feels welcomed. Speed of service has improved drastically – my meal was out in record time, piping hot and absolutely delicious! The food quality is clearly a priority now, with fresh ingredients and flavors that make each bite memorable.

It's great to see Billy’s not just surviving but thriving under this new leadership. If you haven’t been to Billy’s lately, I highly recommend giving it another shot. Customer satisfaction is at the forefront, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to grab a bite. Keep up the great...

We came in for breakfast with our family from out of town what a horrible disappointment. Our waitress was so rude! There were nine of us and first she told us we could set the 4 year old and the 2 year old at a small table by themselves because we would be at the next table over. Who would set young children by themselves. We expected to have some wait but over an hour for our food was ridiculous especially since at least 6 people that were seated after us had been severed and left. We also watched 6 people get up and leave before getting their food. Our waitress told my husband what do you expect bringing that many people in a busy restaurant.
