Food is okay..nothing spectacular or out of this world. You could buy these bagels in Costco and make them significantly better. I used to go here very often a while back and stopped when I realized every time I would walk in the prices would rise BY A LOT..now this was pre-COVID where inflation was not at the point where a small business would raise their prices in such a drastic manner. I always had my speculations that this business was fraudulent but I finally confirmed they were scammers when I walked in and saw the price for a bacon, egg and cheese bagel on regular bagel was listed for $7.85…quite pricy but I was in need of food. I ask the lady how much it will be and she takes a second(to brainstorm a price) then she says $8 then she sees me in pull out a $10 bill then changes her mind and says it’ll be $9 then $8 again then she says it’ll be $8.65. I still paid the $8.65 but just know they will never see me step foot in their shop again. They’re probably really nice people but I don’t put up with this type of behavior plus a bacon, egg and cheese McGriddle meal from McDonald’s is WAYYY better than these bagels, less expensive and they don’t make up their prices...

The bagels tasted good but the lack of hospitality is the reason for dropping 2 stars, the lady at the billing counter was rude , it’s the first time I was buying bagels , I noticed right after billing that a couple of them were cold , the lady proceeded with the next customer , when she got a second I asked her if she could warm it up, she was straight up rude and said you should’ve told me before billing I’ll have to charge you for that and proceeded with the next customer. Not like I’m trying to pull in favors from a stranger I would’ve gladly paid but this turned me off. I just left . Next time don’t be hostile towards customers , smarter thing to do would’ve been to ask for the money and had it heated. Another thing if your credit card machine is slow , then change it get a faster machine, stop hurrying customers away because the first customer’s payment is still processing and you go on to serve the...

My recent visit to Daily Bagel Cafe left me somewhat disappointed. While the atmosphere was cozy, I couldn't help but notice that the ingredients weren't as fresh as I'd hoped. Additionally, the shop's lack of overall cleanliness was obvious.

The bagels themselves lacked the freshness I typically expect from a bagel shop. They were a bit stale and overall lacked freshness. The real letdown was the avocado spread. Not only was it clearly not fresh, but it was also disappointingly black. Evidently, the avocado had been sitting out for too long, leaving a less-than-desirable taste in my mouth. I do not recommend...

I was excited to hear there is another bagel option in Fremont besides Noah’s, but after trying them, I was disappointed. I’m writing this as someone who grew up in Fremont and know what the suburbs offer but have also lived in NYC. The bagels are not made in a traditional way. You can tell they are not boiled before they’re baked, as they have no sheen on them. There’s really no chewiness or doughiness. I’m guessing they were pre-frozen. Bagels I’ve bought from Costco taste better than this. Nice people, a family business, but it’s a business. There’s no interest in making great bagels, just average for California.

Firstly, the bagels here are amazing. Made fresh in house, nicely crisp outside, and soft chewy interior. They have a wide selection of bagels, spreads, or even sandwich choices (which you could get in sliced bread or a bagel). Pretty much any combination your heart desires! The bagel sandwich is a great choice! Currently seating indoors is closed and all orders are to go. But the staff here are lovely, patient and helpful. Thank you!

Brian & Kelly are very sweet! Sandwiches are amazing!! I work at the Everhome office just a few doors away - My favorite has been the turkey with everything on a Sourdough bagel or Sourdough sliced + add sprouts & Avocado!! They have many bagels & sandwiches to choose from, they close at 3p so come by early.
