Authentic Afghan Kebab and Cuisine — Restaurant in Fremont

Just tried this new place that opened yesterday. It replaced the former Travera Vesuvio Italian restaurant location in the Mission Valley Shopping Center in Kimber Park. I tried their Bolani pumpkin appetizer, Sabzi Chicken, Lamb kebab and Firnee dessert. All were excellent! Very fresh, tender meats and flavorful vegetables and soup. I wish I could eat more but the portions are very generous. The soup which was a chicken and corn soup was included with the meal and was no charge. The soup as a starter gave me an indication of how good all the food I ordered will be. Pricing is very reasonable. All the entrees are less than $20 each.

The interior is an upscale middle eastern vibe with a special sitting area just off to the right once you enter. Definitely a great place for families and business meetings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking. This restaurant can rival any Afghan restaurant in flavor and service in the Centerville area of Fremont. I had the best lamb shank (Quran Lamb) I have ever had. My wife had the chicken kabob that was good as well.
