STAY AWAY !!!!!! WORST PLACE !!!!

This has become the worst place to go now. When this place opened up, it was great.

This is what the manager there said when we asked for extra chutney and sambhar....

"Chutney and Sambhar are for dipping only and not eating it."

Yes you heard it right. They tell customers that we cant give you Chutney Sambhar unless you buy it and when we explained and showed how for three idlis and two vadas, the chutney sambhar is less and we need more... He callously says "Chutney Sambhar are for dipping only and not eating".

They will tell customers how to drink sambhar chuneys now.

Here are additionally the drawbacks: Water - No more water they will give anymore.. Have you heard this ever and they make u buy water bottle.

They took away any paper towels on the table. I am sure next they will charge the same.

How can you tell customers how to eat ? He said its happy hour so we cant give extra chutney sambhar.

Happy Hour ??? Seriously what is happu hour in south indian restaurant at afternoon 1:00pm

Sambhar was so mediocre and so was Medu Vada. Idli was reasonable.

Oh you have to listen to the best deal they offer in gift cards. $2000 dollar gift card you buy ... you can get for $1500. They have gone absolutely nuts !

Visited today and found this to be a top notch restaurant. We ordered Malabar Paratha with Korma. It also came with Sweet (Rava Kesari) and Raita. We received two very fluffy- extremely tasty Paratha's- Korma was awesome. What surprised us was the Raita- Such a simple accompaniment, but made perfectly.

Our second dish was mini idly dipped in sambar. This was given to us piping hot with just right amount of Ghee. The coconut chutney was - exactly how it should be- Very authentic- No cost cutting- (but sadly majority of Indian restaurants do not even attempt to make it right). When the staff realized that Sambar may not be enough, They bought two extra bowls of hot sambar. Kudos.

Next on our list was Rice Combo - Containing Sambar Rice, Curd Rice, 1 Vada, Appalam (Papad) and Rava Kesari. Here also Sambar rice was excellent.

Every one from Staff was very courteous and were genuinely interested in finding out our feedback. When we praised, they introduced us the chef- Dinesh- a jolly amiable man.

This place has a warmth of your home and I did feel like I am eating at my friend Kannan's home (They make excellent food!!).

We wish them all the best and would like to tell customers to hurry as within few weeks- this place will...

Food poisoned 3/4 of us! [08/29/24]

Absolutely disgusting. This place is a health code nightmare. I ordered the Mysore masala dosa combo with idly and vada, and let me tell you, it was the worst decision of my life. The rest of my group got puri, dosas, and vadas, and guess what? We all ended up with the worst food poisoning imaginable.

We spent the entire day in the bathroom, shivering with a fever of 101, and unable to keep down even water. This place should be shut down immediately. The food is absolutely vile and definitely contaminated/spoilt. Do yourself a favor and avoid this at all costs!

P.S. We're considering reporting this place to the health department.

EDIT1 after reply: Sorry for hurting you by being rude (on an upset stomach), but understand that it was a collective health loss, even for some of us who took a bath and ate the food, straight from your togo packages. Instead of educating 30 yr olds about food poisoning, you can just ask yourself two things: (1) Do you cook fresh regularly or just serve stored food/ingredients? (2) Is your restaurant's kitchen clean and clear of pests?

I just read the other bad reviews and pics and I recommend others to do the same and not just go by...
