This place is a steal after 9pm!
I appreciate places where you can grab and go because I often find myself in that situation during the work week. So thank you Sweet Garden for making food convenient for me!
It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant is bright and clean with plenty of seating for dine in. I was a little overwhelmed with the menu at first since they have a lot going on but choices are awesome! Especially when it comes for food.
I've tried their combo meal and also their sushi. Both of which I thought were very filling, well priced, and delicious. For their combo meal, the fried rice was very interesting (it had chicken and a hint of coconut?) it was tasty and very unique! They also had the option for garlic noodles which made choosing what carb side I want very difficult. I went with their house chicken and it was delicious! Their sushi sets are quite generous and cheap. It's definitely not going to be the most amazing sushi but it's good! There's also a super deal when you come near closing time.
I'll definitely make frequent visits here and one day, I'll try...
Read moreI had a terrible experience, first and last time ever going there. I ordered the spam musubi and Japanese ramen. It took them 10 minutes to bring out my spam musubi and it WAS NOT fresh at all, soon as I took a bite the rice broke in half and didn’t feel hot at all except for the spam. And is the seaweed wrap only supposed to cover the top? Isn’t is supposed to go all the way around and cover the whole rice it was a small piece that covered the middle of the spam and on only one side that didn’t reach over to the rice. I ate it because I was so hungry but they are out of their minds to think that they served me fresh musubis they tasted OLD. Shortly after I received my ramen and it was hot but overfilled to the rim and the meat looked too fatty and kind of looked old too. For sure didn’t taste fresh AT ALL. They will no longer see my service and people BEWARE. You will not get what you pay for, POOR quality. I wish I can go back there and get my money back because it wasn’t worth $23. If I could give them 0...
Read moreHave you ever had those nights where you are hungry but could not decide what to eat, but would like to just sit down in a friendly place and take your sweet time? This place has it all: bbq skewers, fried noodles or rice, sushi platters, and even pho and ramen.
The main draw for me was the bbq because of an online review. The skewers I had (beef, chicken, and lamb) was cooked well but I did not love the texture. Felt it was overly prepared where it less like a kebob and more like a meat popsicle. I finished up garlic noodles. The Hawaiian chicken wings has potential. Sweet and crunchy, but a little too much bone fragments to be thoroughly enjoyable. Oysters are cooked just right. If they work on the hot sauce, it’ll be perfect. The service was excellent. The guy that runs the places tries to get to know his customers which is rare nowadays. They have happy hour during the midweek where Heineken and Corona is $3.50 a bottle and buy one...
