A generous 3 stars review:
I came here with my sisters because of a friend’s recommendation. We were super excited because this place is known for supporting small businesses who make lots of cute merch.
Atmosphere- 4 stars: I have been finding the feeling of enjoying some snacks and drink in an art gallery - modern, sophisticated. This place gives me some of that vibe.
Service - 3 stars: There was not much interaction with the staffs but they’re doing their job decently and order came out quickly. They also give me heads up that my tea needed to be steeped for several minutes, which was nice.
Foods and drinks- 2 stars (would give 3 if less pricey): We ordered peppermint mocha, hot chocolate, rose oolong iced tea and an egg salad croffle. Peppermint mocha was under-flavored but ok ($6), hot chocolate was very watered down ($4), rose oolong was great (forgot price), and the savory croffle was decent but oh boy it’s one portion for $11.
To cap off, this place is for people who seek a rather unique atmosphere and not care much about pricing nor consistency of drinks quality. Ideal for studying, small groups, couples, pet friendly, or indeed in need of a unique dorky sticker for your...
Read moreIn the past two weeks I've come to this location three different times, so I think I have enough to write about it now.
Hands down the best coffee in the Fremont area. Second to Tamper Room is Devout coffee... and that's about it. Fremont doesn't have many high quality coffee locations. Their cappuccino really emphasizes the subtle sweetness of their Ikon Beans (I believe that's the brand they use) and their drip coffee is super solid as well. If you're looking for a great cup of coffee and a place to sit back, relax, and even maybe buy some local art, this is the perfect spot for you.
Their Ube Croffle (mix between a croissant and a waffle) is delicious. It's not too sweet, and doesn't have an artificial ube taste like many other places do.
The staff here is also very friendly. The owner is super down to Earth and open about her business which I appreciate. Her and her staff took time to talk to me during a slow morning, and it really does make you feel like you're part of a community.
I hope to continue being a regular here, working remotely from the cafe a few times a week and showing my friends the best coffee in the...
Read moreGreat space for co-working, cute stickers from local artists, and some nice tea lattes!
PRICE 💵: Each drink ranges between $6 to maybe $7.50 max. Not bad for Bay Area. The croffles were $9 each. Not a super hefty tab.
DRINKS/FOOD 🍵: I had the matcha latte, it was good but nothing new or extraordinary. Next time I'd try perhaps their strawberry matcha or a coffee. The croffle wasn't worth it in my opinion, a bit cold and I think it was overly sweet. Super pretty, but maybe next time I'd try a savory croffle to see if it's different.
LOCATION 📍: There is free Wi-Fi as well as bathrooms. On a Wednesday from morning to midday there was plenty of space at the tables to work. Their art wall ("gallery") contains lots of super cute and original stickers, pins, various items. There are also board games and puzzles to play with at tables. Everything is super cute inside, even the bathroom has cute art! Definitely a good spot to hang out with friends or co-work. Near Pacific Commons so the lots are huge with...
