A wonderful, and serviceably well run Burger King.
Burger Kings are often at the mercy of the manager, in how well they're run, how good the food is, and how happy the employees are.
This location seemed about middle of the road. The place seemed clean, up to date, plenty of crowns on all the tables, the staff were assistive and helpful, all of the drinks worked, the food came out well, and I had a delicious meal!
Nearby the library, a grocery store, and lots of other nice locations, this Burger King is well situated, in my opinion. It's not in the most beautiful part of Fresno, it's not necessarily uptown, Clovis, downtown proper, but it's perfectly serviceable, and you should be very safe.
Speaking of being safe, when I visited at about 8:30 p.m. until about 9:00, there were multiple families visiting with all of their children, lots of young people having fun together, and the patronage seemed like they were all having a good time and getting along in general very well.
I don't think you'll be disappointed! Lately I've noticed that a lot of Burger King locations have had their ice cream be a little bit runny, but it's just as delicious, and you will actually get ice cream, unlike McDonald's, even if you get it in a cup along with your cone.
I highly recommend the smaller, cheaper burgers. They're actually great! I love the rodeo Burger, and for the same price as a single whopper, you can get two rodeo burgers! Mildly less calories, and you get two burgers instead of one! These ones even have onion rings! Be sure to ask for cheese. They are quite a lot smaller though, so if you're hungry, I recommend a Whopper. Hard to go wrong with one of those!
On to the quick facts.
This location does not have one of the fancy touchscreen drink dispensers, but it is a large one with quite a few common choices.
You will need to ask for a key to use the restroom. I don't believe you have to buy something to use it though.
The staff seemed very friendly and accommodating, Even if they were a little tired on the night shift. Big thanks, and good job!
There's a pretty average amount of parking at this location.
However! There are no bike racks. You will have to lock your bicycle to a pole, and there are no poles nearby the building or anywhere secluded. All of them are on the sidewalk near the street. Be sure to lock up carefully if you ride a bicycle!
The chairs and tables were very clean, they looked like they were well taken care of. When I visited, the floors were being cleaned thoroughly, and not of any mess that I could see.
The inside is very well lit at night, and there are cameras with screens at the counter.
As with all Burger Kings, I highly recommend using the app. Super convenient, and if you go there enough, it doesn't take long to get enough crowns to earn a free ice cream once in a while!
Again, with all Burger Kings, if you are a Walmart plus subscriber, you get a 25% off coupon everyday for any size order, as well as a free Whopper every 3 months. Don't miss out!
In conclusion, thank you so much for my lovely meal, of a rodeo burger, an ice cream, and a medium sized drink!! With my 25% off coupon with Walmart Plus, I paid less than $5!! I came on a bicycle, so your lack of a bike rack is somewhat disappointing, but at least it was there when I came back in the dead of night. Even my spare shoes were still in my saddle bag! I appreciate how clean it was, how safe it felt at night, and how friendly and helpful all of you were. Highly recommend this...
Read moreTook for ever to obtain my order. Food cold, specifically the chicken sandwiches. I asked for fresh french fires and onion rings straight from out of the oil and I was going to be given old ones that had been sitting there awhile yet I told the young man I want them fresh. Mean while he told his coworker to make fresh onion rings and didn't mention any thing about the fries. I then had to wait for the fries to be made. All this time the already made chicken sandwishes were getting colder and colder they, the chicken sandwiches, had been sitting for about 15 minutes prior to him asking for the onion rings and fries to be made fresh. The young man kept giving everyone else who came way after us there orders. I assumed it was because he was waiting on the fries and onion rings to be made fresh. This was not the cast as mention before hand I had to wait additional time for them to make the onion rings and then the fries. To make matters worst the young man had an attitude about the whole situation. When finally receiving my odrer I asked politely for ketchup and ranch dressing he through them in the bag angrily manner. There where other customers who were also upset and walked out and even one young man who cuss at the employee, the same young man, that gave me my orders. Wethen came home and unwrapped the chicken sandwishes, took a bite and it was cold dryed out and looked like the chicken patties had been cooked hours ago. It was a very bad experience today as well as in the past at the Burger King located on Clition and Cedar this has been the cast more than once. That is, in the past I have experienced similar situations such as I did today at this...
Read moreI had the opportunity to share my amazing customer service experience with this location's manager, Nathaniel. I explained to him in thorough detail that I have never experienced or received such amazing customer service in any Fast Food Restaurant Chain in the entire city of Fresno. I travel a lot for work. But I had some downtime today to reach out to this location and tell their manager that their newly hired employee, Nancy was absolutely fantastic with her positive energy and courteous spirit. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and was gracious enough to take my order soon after. If she sticks with this career, she will soar high among the ranks and hopefully one day acquire her own store. As she is certainly a rising star in the making! When I asked her what do you recommend as a big meal deal, she was so kindhearted and even made the effort to ask one of her fellow employees what they would suggest. The Fast Food Industry definitely needs more remarkable people like, Nancy. It shouldn't be about getting an easy paycheck, it should always be about earning every single cent that is on that paycheck. I will reach out to Corporate Headquarters as well sometime tomorrow so that they know to keep an eye out for this remarkable employee. Thank you...
