If I could give zero stars, I would. I recently had a concerning experience with this bakery's customer service. Someone purchased a chocolate cake from their display case for my daughter's birthday party. The cake tasted strongly of alcohol—possibly vodka—and both children and adults noticed its effects. Some kids felt strange, and sober adults felt lightheaded. This was shocking and upsetting, as no one was informed it contained alcohol, and it was served to children, recovering addicts, and elderly guests.

As a responsible parent, I called the bakery to ask what ingredients were in the cake. When I explained the situation, the man who took the call was rude and defensive. He refused to provide information about the cake, insisting that only the person who purchased it could access details. I explained that this was a display case item and not a custom order, so I simply wanted to know what was in it to inform my guests. He repeatedly claimed none of their cakes contain alcohol, which directly contradicted what we experienced.

The lack of transparency and dismissive attitude was deeply concerning. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, especially given the serious nature of the issue. Very poor customer service skills. I’ve bought cakes from this store for birthdays, fathers and mothers days, and many other occasions. My husband bought a cheesecake for my birthday party yesterday, which tasted very stale and old. We ate less than half of it, and my guest were embarrassed to tell me it tasted bad. I thought it was a good idea to return to the store and talk to the owner and come to an agreement about getting a partial refund or something. Once I talked to him, he was very mad from the beginning of our conversation. He argued that the texture was good, but I told him that the taste was the problem, not the texture. He then began to raise his voice, and said he cannot give me any money back. Honestly I feel bad for the business because they clearly cannot afford to lose $40. We loved the cake they made for our son William he turned ✌2⃣years old . The 🍰cake we had in mind it was exactly what we imagined and wanted it was fresh and delicious it was the perfect color and flavor it was a lemon cake 🍋🎂, with a lemon cream cheese in between each cake layer with lemon butter cream frosting lightly yellow with Iridescent edible glitter ✨on top. This matched perfectly with the edible topper and yellow iridescent candle I ordered for my son too. he loved it. As did everyone else thank you so much it was ready to be picked up as planned on time too.
