Sweet Ppang — Restaurant in Fresno

I've been to this shop a number of times and all of the encounters are wonderful! This shop is a family based business, and the members of the family are all very hardworking and friendly with everyone. The interior and environment of this shop is very clean and tidy! The tables are always clean and the employees are always making sure you're comfortable and need assistance. Additionally, they have board games and entertaining crane games with a TV to watch Disney movies. The mother and I presume her two oldest daughters are the employees I see most often and they've always made me feel comfortable with daily chats and mini events they hold.

Price-wise, this shop is also cheaper amongst other shops I've been. From friends perspectives, this store's Taiyaki specifically is cheaper especially if you're purchasing 3-5 Taiyakis. I believe the same goes for the rest of their menu I've tried. They also hold their merchandise they've made consisting on Sanrio and Kpop theme glass cups and stickers.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Ppang, a charming spot that offers some of the best Taiyaki I've had in the Central Valley. I tried their Taiyaki filled with Nutella, custard, and Oreo, and it was absolutely fantastic. The exterior was perfectly crispy, while the inside remained soft and delicious, creating a delightful contrast in texture.

In addition to the Taiyaki, I also indulged in their strawberry croffle, which did not disappoint. The combination of flavors and textures was spot on, making it a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.

What really sets Sweet Ppang apart, beyond the quality of their treats, is the staff. The employees were incredibly knowledgeable and kind, taking the time to help me make my choices with great consideration. Their friendliness and attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable.

We each got Ube ice cream cup, pricey @ around $6 for a medium-ish serving. Tasted fine, but after second spoonful we all noticed the the inside of our ice cream was all hollow!!! So shady. Just offer two different sizes and price points instead of this sneaky business practice. We want to come back and support our local Asian small business owners and hope they see this review and fix it. This place has so much potential. We really loved the vibe and want to spend $$$ here.
