TERRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! NEVER GOING TO GIVE A SECOND CHANCE! I never tried this restaurant before, I was recommended here by google and some reviews. I tried placing an order on their app, but it’s not so easy to understand for my first time using it, so I decided to call and ask for help or just place the order through the phone. First time I call, no answer just a beep. Probably on the phone. I waited and called again, this lady answered and I asked her about her online menu and if she had coconut shrimp, she sounded like she was having a bad day because of her response, “no, no coconut shrimp just honey walnut shrimp!!” I said okay, and asked if I can just make an order through the phone for pick up, she said “okay, what you want?” I told her a plate of pot stickers, and asked about an entree of almond chow Mein, then I hear silence, and she had hung up on me. I felt it might have disconnected, so I called back and she answers, I told her I was the guy that was ordering and if she had gotten part of my order. She ignores me. I’m there in silence, “ hello, can I place an order?” She then says, “ okay. What you want?” Rudely. After that I had a suspicion. I then asked if she hung up on me in the prior phone call, she ignored my question and asked if I’m gonna order or not. I felt disrespected. I then just started to order, “ an order of pot stickers please and...” she cuts me off and says, “okay, just one order of pot stickers.” “Just that?” I replied no, I was gonna order more. She then makes a huge sigh okay. What you want?!?” This time with so much attitude. I was done at this point. I’m too prideful to continue to order from a place this rude and lacking customer service skills. I’m glad I didn’t give my business to them.
EDIT: after reading a lot of these comments I see I’m not the only one who had a bad experience with this rude...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. After searching for a new chineese food restaurant in my area because i was dissapointed that the New China Cafe was not as good as I remember growing up, I found this place tucked away in the back corner of a near by shopping center. After reading some reviews on this place I had to try it out for myself. It was exactly as I read. The women who serve you don't always seem to be in the best mood, but the food is great. I have been coming here to eat for a little over 2 years now. I'm always with someone else so I always order either (Dinner A) or (Dinner B) for 2. When we went in today there was 4 adults and a baby including myself we ordered (Dinner A for 2) and (Dinner B for 2) the abundance of food was so great we brought home a lot of food. I noticed that when you order in you always have food left over to take home with you. But when you order out the amount of food they serve is significantly smaller. It is always a better idea to dine in at this place and take the rest to go. Over time i kinda feel that without the attitude from the women servers, I would feel jipped of the entire experience. My mom gives them attitude back lol its funny to watch. The overall taste and presentation of the food is what makes me give this place a 5 star review. The food absolutely tastes as good as it looks.
Also check out my review for Jims Chineese Restaurant right down the street off of First and Clinton. Also one of the best Chineese Food...
Read moreGolden Dynasty has always been good to my family. I have been coming here even before Yelp existed. Granted, chef come and go and owners have changed hands at least a couple times. On this day, I decided on the lunch combo meal that consisted with Mongolian beef, pork chow mein, and pork fried rice. My only qualms was the pork fried rice just tasted like soy sauce rice, it lacked the taste that it was fried. I understand that making pork chow mein and fried rice is the cheaper option but none of the pork flavor came through in either of the dishes. Sliced chai sui (pork) was just placed on top of the rice and noodles. I normally order family style dishes here so ordering combo dishes is not the way to go. I will be back for ale carte/family style...
