Deli Delicious #04 - Palm & Nees — Restaurant in Fresno

We had an awful experience today. We got there at 11:35, had to wait 12 minutes to order behind only one person and then it took 30 minutes to actually get our food. They didn't bother to tell us that they had 3 huge orders ahead of us and that it would take a while. So at 12:15 we finally get our "eat in" order. We got it on one plastic tray. Since when do you serve two people with one tray? They finally gave us our sandwiches in separate trays but by then we had to get "to go" containers. We also observed them when they finally started making our sandwiches (which at the time we didn't realize were ours). They heated up our two Tri Tip meats together in the microwave and then forgot about them until they were ready to put someone else's meat in to heat it. We ended up with cold Tri Tip sandwiches, but at this point the place was so crowded with people that hadn't been warned about the "time" issue that we just crammed in half our sandwiches and let someone else (that was just standing waiting for their food) finally get a place to sit down. I just had the worst experience at this location. I was told to get out of the store and was threatened by one of the employees,(who was hold a knife and shaking it at me), and who also who refused to identify herself. The cashier was extremely unprofessional and rude, along with a very belligerent, misguided, absurd and hysterical young lady who identified herself as a manager. The two young women were dismissive and refused to give me their names. Obviously, they were in fear of being reprimanded by a superior. Their customer service was horrific and they possess little or no customer service training. Lastly, I will be contacting the owner of this location to let him or her know; that the two young women and also another young man ,who was absolutely doing nothing the whole time I was in the establishment but standing around looking simpleminded, to terminate the three employees that were working on Tuesday Dec. 14, 2021at 1:42PM. Deli D is usually pretty consistent. The location on Palm and Herndon cross contaminated my food and acted as if it was supposed to be that way. I ordered a French Dip and found lettuce pieces in the sandwich from when the sandwich maker had made another sandwich. Do not go to restaurants where the employees do not change gloves. It's just as bad as not washing your hands between making sandwiches. My Au Jus also had lettuce in it. The service was terrible too. When I called to inform them of their mistakes the manager literally shrugged me off by just saying, "Ok..." With a very sarcastic tone. I can tell the manager didn't know how to make any of the sandwiches as she literally didn't know a French Dip from Deli Delicious doesn't come with lettuce unless requested.
