Watts Up Electronics — Local services in Fresno

This guy is a scam artist. Luckily I paid him with a credit card(protected sale) and was able to dispute it to not lose my money. See below dispute remarks and events (Let’s see what response he makes to this comment as an excuse). Please do not do business with Phil.

“Since June 3, 2020(payment made June 2, 2020), I have been in contact with the seller with respect to the delivery/ pick-up of the boat that I had purchased from him and all I received was the run-around. The seller did state after payment was submitted to expect delivery within a week timeframe, which to present day (July 31, 2020) has yet to be fulfilled.

After 8 days, something did not seem right as the seller did not keep me posted with respect to updates as initially indicated and therefore, I reached out to him in order to cancel and refund me the money that was paid. The seller ultimately ended up blocking me from Facebook and attempted to seize any and all communication with me. I am pleading with you to assist me with what seems to be a scam as there is no boat or no refund. The seller cannot have both.

The seller indicated that he had supposedly given me a date to pick up the boat and that is a lie. Again, it has been almost two months and no item(boat) has been given. Although I had heard criticism of Watts Up Electronics and it's owner, Phil Carter, I want against my better judgement and rented a RV from him. Not only was it delivered dirty and damaged, but upon return, although it was cleaner than I got it, he made up a bunch of phony charges and wouldn't return my security deposit.

I highly recommend that you do not do business with this company or the owner because my experience Phil Carter conducts fraudulent and unethical business practices.
