We arrived at 1:40 am and were seated promptly. Our server came over and asked what drinks she could start for us and she went to grab them. After we ordered our food we waited 30 minutes before our food came to the table...
During the time we were waiting we were able to hear everything going on in the kitchen. There were multiple Uber eats drivers there waiting for food. One driver was standing for 20 minutes before being told she could sit down... We observed the manager walking around sweeping instead of jumping on the cooks line to help the only cook that was drowning in tickets. Servers were getting irritated with the cook and he was talking back with attitude. Servers were all a mess as well. There was food up in the window getting cold and servers were nowhere to be found. Our server disappeared. When we finally saw her she refilled only one of our drinks. Our food was brought out and my fiance's burger was unseasoned and was crispy it was so overcooked, they didn't add seasoned salt to the fries like he requested and the garlic toast that was supposed to come with my dinner didn't come. We asked for the toast and the waitress said she was waiting on it... I didn't get my toast until I was almost done with my food and then the waitress decides to come refill my drink as I'm taking the last couple bites of my food.
When we went to pay my fiance asked if we could receive something off our tab for the long wait and the cashier had the nerve to ask how long we waited. There were other tickets who were waiting 25+ minutes... My fiance and I also work in the restaurant business and know the frustration that comes with dealing with unhappy customers, and we would never want to complain about something unless we really were bothered by it. We aren't looking for a free meal and left a tip anyways regardless of the horrible service. Denny's has let us down so bad that we won't be returning, at least not to this location. Perhaps things run more smoothly at another time, but unfortunately this was a horrible early...
Read moreI was so disappointed about my experience at this Denny's location. I went by tonight, late 11:40 p.m. for a pick up order of two milkshakes. I ordered at 11:20 and pick up time was 11:40 p.m. When I got there at 11:45 p.m. I was asked by a young girl if I had a pick up order. I let them know it was for two strawberry milkshakes. Two ladies looked at each other and asked if it was made, then one girl says "nose goes" I'm not making them. Mind you, I'm standing right in front of them as this whole exchanges occurs. I waited another 15-20 mins for another woman to come up to me and say, "our blender just broken". I was shocked at her response, especially since I had seen another waitress recently walk out to the dine in area with 5 milkshakes! I explained to her what I saw, and she then proceeded to tell me about how one of there blenders has been broken for a week. Mary, who apparently was the manager on shift, then told me "well I can try and scoop it out by hand if that's what you want me to do". I was again shocked at her response because I didn't understand why my order was never made in the 20 mins window they told it would be AND how others in the dine in area were having milkshakes made way after I placed my order. To top it all off, I was told by Mary that she couldn't refund me tonight. I have to now call the manager tomorrow on shift just to get my money back for an order that was never fulfilled. 🙄😒🤬 The lack of customer service and professionalism from this location is unacceptable but I can't saw too surprising. Most like to blame it on "COVID" times but when will the excuses end. Not only was I upset about the milkshakes but more so about the lack of respect for paying customers. I look forward to the day when I can go to a place I spend my money at and get quality service. Hopefully that time will be...
Read moreThis visit was about me getting some work done and it worked out perfectly!! 9: 30 pm I needed WiFi and an outlet to plug in my laptop. I knew Starbucks would be closing soon. Dutch Bros is to loud. So I thought Denny's?? Walked in and was greeted by Kimmy and asked her do you have WiFi and possibly an outlet I can plug into? She was a newer employee so she had to ask. Came back with a smile saying, "We have both! " She lead me to a table by the counter and there were already a couple people in that section but it wasn't too loud or too crowded. I got everything set up and Kimmy took my order. (I'm a firm believer you can not take up property in a restaurant if you don't pay the rent!) Any how, I was able to complete the tasks I needed to without any inconveniences or disruptions!! My work took longer than expected about 2 hours, but they didn't mind a bit. Several of the servers came over to say hello to a couple of the people sitting in the same area and I could tell they must have been regulars. It was really nice to hear them ask about their lives and tell them it was good to see them and what not. It made me feel like they appreciated their customers and cared for them as well. Because my work was taking longer than expected I kept my eye on the restaurant to make sure they were never getting busy or needed my table for anything. Of course since it was getting later they needed to clean the floors section by section but they never asked me to move or leave. They were very accommodating!!
Thank you!!
Overall experience... Free WiFi Electrical outlets to plug into Great service Never felt rushed or in the way This visit was a 10 out...
