Juicy burger — Restaurant in Fresno

Dec-22 Update: Well, I've tried a lot of there menu items and haven't had anything I didn't like. I often order the Grilled Chicken Salad. Accompanied by their two Grilled Cheese sandwich special totally hits the spot. I have them hook'em up with kinds od cheese, grilled onions and a tomato slice after there grilled. Who says grilled cheese sandwiches are kids food? I've also tried most of their sides and they are all good too.

Call ahead so they'll have it ready for you to eat there or take. Real food takes a few minutes to make and everything is made to order. No partially cooked patties waiting to be nuked, et cetera.

If you haven't tried it out yet, you are missing out.

Mar-2022 FINALLY OPEN 🎉 🎊 Yeah!

Well, I have to say, the wait for it to finally open was worth it!

They have a large menu selection... I'm still working my way through it 😀... But what I have tried has been great.

The burgers 🍔 remind me of an In-n-Out style, but with a better bun and more taste. The Cheese Steak was loaded with meat and was yummy. My lady friend has had the Pastrami and said it was wonderful (I snuck a bite when she wasn't looking and greatly agree). The fries 🍟 are good and fresh and you get a good amount with the combo deals. If you and a friend are really hungry - try the Family Special if you can eat two burgers, drinks and fries each - it was a challenge to try to finish, and I ended up with fries the next morning.

For how small it appears on the outside, the inside feels welcoming and spacious. There are two full booths inside for dine in; I sat inside while I waited for the to-go order. All the employees were kind and welcoming. The interior was clean and well maintained. There were about five parking spaces outside (with outdoor and indoor seating if you wish to dine in) and small but recently paved parking lot. Parking lot has entrances and exits onto both Broadway and Divisadero.

As a One Piece fan, I'd give bonus points for the One Piece wanted posters on the far wall. These guys are the real ones.

The food was good. Burgers were a solid 8/10, fries were hot, seasoned, and crispy, the milkshakes were on point, and the "large" drinks were massive enough to justify the "no free refills" sign behind the counter. Two large double cheeseburger combos (including a mountain of fries and Sierra mists), plus two medium shakes came out to only $40, which was less than I was expecting, making this a good value-for-quality sort of meal. I’ve always believed that great customer service is just as important as the quality of the food. Unfortunately, Juicy Burger completely missed the mark on this. The food itself is decent—I’d rate it a 10/10 when everything is right. However, if the service is disrespectful or lackluster, that drops to a 1/10 for me.

I placed an order last night (03/28) and tried calling afterward to address an issue I had with their drinks. On a previous order, the Fruit Punch was extremely watered down, so I wanted to give them a heads-up this time. But before I could even get through half of my sentence, I was abruptly hung up on. That level of disregard is unacceptable, and for that reason alone, I won’t be ordering from Juicy Burger again.

Good food should be matched by good service, and when that’s lacking, it ruins the entire experience.
