Rainbow Ballroom — Local services in Fresno

I love this venue. I've seen some huge and small artists here over the years. Overall look and feel of the place is great but tonight, 30 minutes after I arrived at 9pm, the ATM broke and the entire venue is cash only. We couldn't even buy a bottle of WATER. There were NO exceptions to leave the venue to another ATM so we could finish our night spending possibly lots of money there on booze, as we would naturally because we like to be there. We left before the main act Brillz, someone we have seen there before, because we were too tired to carry on. I think Rainbow should invest in a second ATM or set up a Square system for card transactions. Their fee is 2.75% guys....come on. I'll be back of course with a pocket full of cash next time. My friend and I were attacked by the security guard and the ticket taker after we got into an argument with them when they wouldn't accept my friend's 3 different forms of ID because she died the blue out of her hair back to her natural hair color. They had NO PROBLEM taking her money though, so at least they know how to do that right. The city and the authorities will be notified about this, but please just save your money before coming here. $8 shots in a thimble, $4 dollar waters and they their service isn't even guarneteed if they don't feel like it. Smaller venue. Better have cash, no cards accepted. However, there is an ATM that charges you $3.50 for your convenience. Use the restroom early or not at all. No alcohol on the dance floor, but beware of the $3 Costco water bottles that will litter the floor by night's end. You get what you pay for, tickets were cheap for this venue to see a world renown electric DJ like Morgan Page. Not Sacto, not Frisco, not San Jo, but Fresno! MP lit up this venue like it was EDC.
