We had pardinis cater our 250+ person wedding and it was a giant nightmare doing the planning process with Jayne. I do want to mention that I cannot speak on behalf of the other staff, they may be better, but if you are set on going with Pardinis, steer clear of Jayne forsure. I don’t even know where to start with this review. Communication was so atrocious between myself/ my husband, Jayne and our wedding planner. Jayne would not respond to emails. She did not send any sort of real contract till just weeks before the wedding. For some reason Jayne would also leave off my planner from communication even though we would continue to give specific instruction to please include her as it is her job to help plan this and not mine. Later, come to find out, Jayne definitely has an issue with my planner as she spoke ill of her to me during our tasting. Incredibly unprofessional and hilariously untrue as the only person I had issues with was Jayne. Jayne admitted to being incredibly busy and overbooked. While I can sympathize with her, it’s not my problem and if you can’t manage a caseload this big without having to put some clients on the back burner, it may be worthwhile to rethink what you take on. My interactions with her in person were also definitely affected by this as she called me the wrong name twice the one and only time we met in person. Her being overworked also caused a giant breach of our trust as she accidentally sent our contract to my husbands cousin instead of to us.

Our guests are still talking about the food at our wedding thanks to Pardinis. We had a buffet with a carving station and passed hours d'oeuvres. There wasn't a single complaint about the food and we've even had a few guests ask where they can go to eat the chicken again!

The communication leading up to the wedding was a little spotty. We had a wedding planner so she was doing a lot of the outreach and follow up but it did take several emails and calls to get answers on several details. Because we didn't get a response on our site plan until a month before the wedding we did have to add a few unexpected costs for more tables and a green wall to hide the prep area. Luckily our vendors were flexible and making the changes was easy. It would have been much better for us to know we needed to add those costs ahead of time. Similarly, after our final headcount was provided, we had to wait for a final cost. If I didn't have a planner all of the back and forth and follow-up to get answers would have been too much work for me alone.

In the end, the food and service were amazing on the day of! We couldn't be happier with the quality of the food and service. We went with Pardinis because we had a large wedding (280 guests) and we knew they were the most logistically prepared for day of flow. Things went very smoothly and everyone was fed quickly. The carvers were very professional and added an extra touch to the dinner.

Story time!! I was in a wedding crisis. Our caterer had a sudden emergency, and was not able to cater our wedding anymore. Thank goodness we had a couple months to figure it out! After calling multiple caterers in our area, we called Pardini's to cater our wedding in San Luis Obispo, and they CRUSHED IT!

I had multiple people tell me it was the best filet they have ever had in their life! Or, that was the best wedding food they have ever had!

I got the chicken piccata which was amazing! I still think about the starter salary! They even subbed feta for me- not a bleu cheese gal.

Alex was our event manager and she there for all of my million questions. She would reply in a timely manner, and was there for a text or a phone call. She even had a meeting with my family in person.

The service was better than any restaurant. They brought in a whole crew who were on top of it!

Not only did they provide our food, they also did our full bar service, including the cocktail hour and drinks upon arrival.
