Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Fresno

I drove through at 4 in the morning, Nov. 6. I got gas at EZ Trip across the street. I had just gotten off work and was tired and very hungry. I still had a 30 minute drive home. The Sourdough Jack was literally the worst burger I’ve ever had! I ordered it without tomatoes and ketchup. The top of the burger had about a half inch by an inch rectangle of attempted grilling and the bottom half was just a slab of cold bread. The cheese was cold without any evidence of melting anywhere, and the burger and bacon were room temperature. No mayo could be found. I was the only one in the drive through so it’s not like the employees were swamped with confusing orders!

I wasn’t about to drive back through and have them remake it just for them to spit on the new burger or rub it on their exposed crotch! (Or a myriad of other disgusting things they could do.) What they did to that burger was on purpose! The guy that put it together knew it was wrong and didn’t care. I believe he put ketchup on it originally and then tried to remove it by swapping it out with a piece of cold dry bread and new cheese, combined with meat that was sitting around too long. Disgusting and so dry it was enough to gag me. Inedible! The part that angers me the most is that this was clearly done on purpose because of total laziness! You people need...

I spent 30 mins in the drive thru for a 3 taco combo today, literally late back from my lunch. Took them 15 mins at the window to even take the order.

3 weeks ago, I filled out an experience survey because I sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes on my lunch break and was late back to my place of employment. I ordered 2 meals, and the quality was fine, but the fact that I sat in the drive thru for 30 plus minutes was unacceptable. After the survey, Verenice reached out to my cell phone directly, apologized, and offered 2 comp meals (did not have to be the same from my original order) for the experience. This morning I tried to go redeem 1 of my comp meals and not only did the employee have zero knowledge of the comp meals, she asked for a receipt, asked me what the meals were, she then asked me what I wanted to order even though I had already placed my order before I got to the speaker and spoke to her. I'm beyond disappointed in this location because not only did I have a bad experience already, but this employee just added to an already bad experience. I told her my name, Verenice's name, and she was still combative and unhelpful. It was pretty ridiculous, my friend and I went there and the cashier was standing around, I thought she was waiting for the lady ahead of us to order but then after about half a minute the cashier left and I asked the lady if she ordered already and she said yes, that she has been waiting 10 minutes for 2 large fries. The poor lady had to call out to another worker, I think his name was Chu, and the young man helped her out right away and asked my friend and I if we ordered. Something the cashier should have done instead of standing around with her phone. Chu really went above and beyond to help us and the poor guy was pretty much alone taking orders for the drive through and the front counter, someone didn't do their job and left this place with not enough workers. Oh, and the bathrooms were disgusting and the floor in the front was a mess and I actually slipped a little with all the oil that was on the floor.
