Fine dining does not get any better. This was close to absolute perfection. We arrived with reservations at their opening, and were promptly seated at my favorite location, a table in the back corner. A young man filled our water glasses without spilling a drop. Our server, Conner, recommended a wonderful Italian-produced Pino Grigio, which was light and fruity with a nice finish. There is not much better than a server who is like a sommelier. The wine list is quite diverse, and certainly adequate in reds, whites, and sparkles. We got warm, fresh bread, and breadsticks, while we contemplated the menu. The cuisine is strictly meat and pasta, no seafood, but there are many great choices. My wife got the outstanding Minestrone and the Lasagna Parmigian, our niece got the Ravioli de Radiccio, and I got the Escargot, and the Rack of Lamb. Pardon my lack of Italian language here. The escargot were large, in a tremendous traditional butter and garlic sauce, where the bread came in very handy. The lamb was perfectly cooked to order. I have never seen a lasagna presented like this before. All presentations were meticulous, as I am sure Chef Rafael demands. Dinner was nicely paced. While we were too stuffed to order off the homemade dessert menu, Conner did bring out some complimentary, lemony, wonderful Italian cookies. We were also greeted at our table by an elegant, gracious lady, Signora Mastro, who reminded me very much of Chef Andrea, former owner of the great New Orleans restaurant the bore his name for over 30 years. There is something about the Italian people, no matter where we go, that drives them to respect their tradition, and that seems to always make a difference. Signora Mastro is truly a culinary Maestro.

So so so good!! This place is such an authentic Italian restaurant. My parents and I all felt like it was just like the places we went to in Italy. As with any restaurant is Italy, you should be prepared for this to take a while. But embrace it. It's great to take a break between courses and enjoy the wine and the company you're with. The owner is a lovely woman who comes by to greet each table and thanks you for coming when you leave. The food was absolutely amazing. We got the chefs choice which comes with the appetizer sampler. They were all amazing. It comes with 3 different types of pasta for the main course. All the pasta is hand made and everything was delicious. It then comes with a dessert. Mine was some sort of cold cream thing with cookie crumbles and then hot melted chocolate to pour on top yourself. It was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend got the chocolate mousse, my mom got the creme brulee, and my dad got the lemon cheesecake; all of them were amazing. We are planning on returning for sure!

Some of the BEST service and food I've had in a long time. I am a foodie and since we travel for soccer we try lots of restaurants. This one hands down is the winner. Let me tell you we had no idea this was going to be a place we should have dressed up for. When we walked in we initially felt that this was no ordinary Italian restaurant, we felt very underdressed in our jeans, flip flops girls in shots, sweats and hoodies. Well let me tell you the owner was this delightful woman who treated us like we had arrived in a limo, wearing a gowns & tuxedos. Honestly I felt at times we were her only table because they were so attentive and the FOOD WAS AMAZING! I can't say enough about how great it all was. If I'm ever in Fresno this is definitely my place to go honestly might even be worth the 2 1/2 drive just to go back. If your in the area this is a must try restaurant !!!

This was an interesting restaurant to visit due to how innocuous it appears from its exterior. It could easily be missed if one isn’t informed- however it would be grand disservice to steer folks here. The interior, while aged, is upheld by the fantastic service and superior dishes. Notable standouts were the lasagna and gnocchi. The duck pasta wasn’t out favorite despite being duck lovers given that the pasta was surprisingly crunchy. We asked for a replacement dish which was promptly supplied with no haggling; this level of customer service is seldom seen, which elevated this seemingly nice experience into an extraordinary one. The creme brûlée was magical, although some vanilla bean would truly elevate this dish. They also offer corkage for an additional fee of $20. Thank you for all for a marvelous experience.

Do not go without a reservation!! I walked in and was not acknowledged by anyone for 5 minutes. There was no one at the front taking names...7 people walked in after me and only 1 was acknowledged as they brushed by me. So many employees just passing by me not saying a word or even excuse me. Felt incredibly uncomfortable as all the diners were just staring at me. The older lady wearing all black out of uniform, came up after seating the people who came after me. She said no space for walk ins waving her hands at me, kept saying no... not polite and unprofessional. It felt like she was shoo-ing me away. It was embarrassing. She said 'maybe have space in 45 min..didn't write down my name or #. The lack of customer service here was sad from the moment I walked in.

Do yourself a favor and visit Parma’s! I have lived down the street from this restaurant for the past 3yrs and I finally tried Parma’s in December 2023. This place is great! The main lady greeted me with a handshake with a beautiful smile, making me felt like I’ve known her for years. My second visit same lady greeted me with a big hug! I love the Waiters, they have excellent taste with wine and foods. The Atmosphere is chill and cool but all the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is delicious, some Italian classics and with a twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
