Mayd Modern Mediterranean — Restaurant in Fresno

I've been coming here since it opened but had a frustrating last experience and I'm not sure if I'm coming back. Long story short, I came in towards the end of lunch, there was nobody in front of me at the time, and I started my order and the first gal behind the counter handed me off so she could continue starting orders for the people who came in after me, as normal. However, nobody else finished my order. The guy who was supposed to was flirting with the customer who just walked in in front of me, to the point where he interrupted my order to force the gal helping me out of the way, and then after the customer paid and moved on, he looked at me, my food, back at me, and walked away to chat with one of the other workers. There were 4+ people total behind the counter and nobody finished my order. After waiting for a couple minutes I left. I wasn't rude to anyone, the staff just apparently didn't care.

Not sure if I'll be going back. Previously I loved this place, but what's the point if you're not even going...

sha kari as a manager I was quite disappointed... The family loves the food but was so taken back by my most recent experience. I arrived, walked in got in line proceeded to order. Started the order then he came over and said I'm sorry these are our last two customers ... I thought he was joking with me at. No food was put away. The scene he made took twice as long as if he would have put the food in the bowl but he was so insistent on wanting to go home that he wouldn't take my order... This is on my regular list of places I like. However after this experience I'll no longer patron this facility; so awkward and horrible experience for no reason. He just was so insistent on they were closed. Still had six workers there. All the food out just seemed silly to make a scene for no reason..... If the owners ever look at this, hopefully there can be a learning opportunity for managers to recognize that if a patron is in the facility in line, it's okay to take their order, not make a big scene and cast...

This has nothing to do with the food but with the staff. I have never had any bad experiences until lately. This was my go to place but after yesterday I’m not sure. Lately whenever I have ordered from door dash I pay extra for an item and it is never added to my order but I let it go. Then in person yesterday I asked for one serving tri tip and one order cauliflower. Rudely he says that’s extra. I said that’s fine and then he gives me a little sorry scoop and puts most of it back in the container. So I ask the girl who is putting the veggies for a little more she says that’s going to be extra and gives me the same amount and I say that’s fine. They were so rude and unfriendly. I probably wouldn’t have even made a review but after how they treated me I felt I should. I went in around 5 on 7/15. Most of my experiences have been so amazing so it must be this newer staff....
