Phở #1 — Restaurant in Fresno

This is my boyfriend’s favorite Pho in Fresno and I’m so happy he introduced me to it. The broths are phenomenal and the flavors of the vegetarian version are incomparable! There’s an abundance of greens and broccoli/carrots, we always get a large bowl each. The toppings are super fresh and crisp, basil is always very aromatic. My son gets the rare steak pho and loves it! The place is always clean, the owner and his employees are very welcoming and water is brought over soon as they see customers sit down. Before we leave we always get Thai teas to wash down the heat. We live on Herndon/99 and make the drive here at least once a week!

Let me just add that they are open late, my boyfriend went once before closing and almost left out of respect to their hours and the owner insisted he sit down and eat. I’ve called before after 9:30 and again, the owner answers happily and insists we come. They were open Christmas as well which was a huge deal for us! They’ll always be...

We have not been here in years do to the horrible service ... We had figured let's try it again maybe it would be different but we were wrong... the only special request that was made was for my son's pho to please have only shrimp and fish ball.. and made sure to tell her that if it's an extra charge that is perfectly ok ... she stood there staring at me like I was an idiot and proceeded to tell me that she can't do that... We had ask her why, she had proceeded too tell us that "seafood is expensive and that if we want it then it's going to be extra " ... confused cause I had already told her earlier that it was fine.. and of course for the rest of our time there she never came back to check on nor anyone else that was working there... it was just bad .. even witnesses another customer walking out due to this horrible service on that same day ... food that was usually good now is flavorless... I can honestly say that never am I stepping foot in that...

If you crave Pho, they have what you crave. The soup is fantastic, and is a cure-all for whatever ails you. The Bahn-mi (sp?) Sandwich is a fine alternative, which when consumed with the accompanying peppers, will also burn out the weakest cells in your body and bring happiness into your life. You may need tissues at that point. -But this stuff has TONS of flavor -delicious! Oh, and the prices are great! I'm sure it takes a witch-doctor a week to make the broth for the soup, but he must work cheap because you and a friend can drown in the stuff for less than 20 bucks. Local business, good food, and they take cash -which is also good, because cash talks in every language, including vietnamese, which I don't understand at all.
