This location has really gone downhill the last few years. Hubby and I hardly get fast food anymore thanks to shrinkflation, but last night we were out of options at home with little time to shop and cook. We decided to "treat ourselves" and get something through a window. What a sad time it is when something that used to be a regular and affordable occurrence as grabbing a bite to eat at a fast food joint has now become a luxury to everyday people and their families... Given our options, we decided on Wendy's nuggies and fries thinking it'd be one of the "more affordable" options. We spent over $13 for two SIX piece nuggets, ONE medium fry (for us to SPLIT), and two waters (NOT sodas). I dunno about you, but that's not a lot of food for $13.49; much less when a single medium fry is being split between two adults. As for the service, the young lady on the speaker sounded either tired or disinterested. While that's understandable, it wasn't exactly welcoming 😅 I'm guessing we met the same person at the window, and she smelled of a nice perfume and greeted us. As she took my husband's card for payment, she was already handing him our food and there had been maybe one car in front of us beforehand, but the wait was negligible, if any, so it was a pretty clear sign our food wasn't going to be hot and fresh, and had most-likely been scooped up from underneath a heat lamp. The young lady did offer us ketchup before we even had to ask for it and gave us several packets in our bag, and then we wished each other a good night and off we went... Which wasn't very far as we just pulled into one of their parking stalls so we could eat before things got cold(er). Welp, everything was barely warm. The fries were old, stale and just... sad. The dozen tiny nuggets weren't a far cry from their medium fry companions, and we're certain they'd been sitting out for a good amount of time. If the food safety department came by, I'm sure they'd get dinged for food temperatures and holding times. We could smell perfume on our bag and honestly wish we couldn't as it threw off the smell and taste of everything else as we ate. The ketchup packets were covered in dried streaks of ketchup and stuck together, so we opted to just stick with the barbecue sauce which I think changed in recipe but don't know for sure. We debated going back in and asking for things to be remade, but neither of us wanted to because we've now had enough bad meals here that we didn't think it'd be much different. The very few times we've been to a Wendy's in our area the last few years, we've been hopeful that things would be good, crispy, and piping-hot again, but this last order may very well be the final soggy fry at the bottom of the bag for us. I am very sorry to complain, but it's happened enough times now to warrant sharing with everyone else and perhaps the food safety department... Needless to say, we were both left unsatisfied and still hungry with our hefty serving of...
Read moreBest customer service ever at a fast food place! I placed a pickup order for two breakfast sandwiches and some lemonades, but I arrived at the drive thru late after they stopped serving breakfast, like 6 minutes late.
After they had us go to the window to pickup our food, we were told they stopped serving breakfast and threw away everything they made. I was like, no problem, my bad for being late. The guy at the window said it was their fault, which I don’t feel like it was, and said to bring my receipt back whenever they are serving breakfast and they make them for me. I was like no worries, can I just get the lemonades and refund the sandwiches. The guy at the window said he can do the lemonades, but he needs like 10 minutes to process everything. I was like no worries and parked in front of the building.
About 5 minutes later, another employee came to my car with the lemonades and a brown bag. What was inside the bag? The two breakfast sandwiches! I was blown away, they did not have to do that and they literally made my day. I can’t thank them for their service and kindness, and the food was amazing!
Best food from Wendy’s that I have ever had. These people went above and beyond and treat their customers with empathy and respect. If you’re looking to get a bite at Wendy’s and you live in Fresno/Clovis, this is the best location with the best people in the...
Read moreMy family was very impressed with an employee by the name of Paul. My wife and I arrived on March 8, 2020, at approximately 545 pm. We had been on the road for an hour and a half, en route to Monster Jam at the Save Mart Center with four of our grandchildren.
Upon our arrival, he was ready to take our order, but the kids were indecisive about what we wanted. Paul patiently waited for them to decide and went into the dining area to check on other customers' experience and needs. When we were ready to order, he was right there to help us.
After we received our food, he came into the dining area to check and see if we needed anything else and how we were doing.
The food was ok, but Paul's service and attitude was outstanding. You expect (though hardly ever receive) this kind of service at expensive restaurants, not at Wendy's.
I have 19 years of experience in the customer service field, having worked in management at Save Mart Supermarkets. This person's people skills were impressive, so I just felt compelled to leave this review.
Great job Paul! I just don't see this kind of service and attitude anywhere anymore and I assure you, it made a positive difference in our dining experience....
