I stopped at your store #24038 on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, ordering two (2) sandwiches for my husband and me for our lunch. This location was extremely busy with multiple take-out orders, current supplies from Sysco, and walk-up orders like my own.
Unfortunately, the staff member processing payments and managing the front-end did not indicate that all sandwiches ordered were not ready. Regretfully, only one sandwich was in the bag. After calling this locations' phone number listed on the receipt, and leaving a message, my husband and I decided to go back and obtain a new sandwich and a least a courtesy drink for our wasted time and travel.
Before I forget, I want to mention that my husband is legally blind and has exceptional developed sensory despite being blind. We went to the front and asked about our sandwich, which was missing in the bag.
I indicated that after she had difficulty processing my credit card, which resulted in her having to ring it twice, I was given the bag in which she placed all of the contents and was not told that I had to wait for the other sandwich. Another employee came over without identifying herself and said that it was my fault for leaving the sandwich and giving me the previously made sandwich. I passed it to my husband, and he indicated that he was not comfortable eating it, and it was not hot.
I asked this second employee if they would remake it, and she started to argue with me over whether the sandwich was hot. Either way, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband did not believe the sandwich was safe to consume.
The staff did remake my husbands' sandwich. However, given how rudely we were treated, my husband and I are not encouraging others to patronage...
Read moreI order my sandwich through the Jersey mikes app and it says it will be delivered at 8:44pm by DoorDash. 8:40pm comes around door dash lady gives me a call while she is at the store and asks me did I get my food. I tell her no I’m waiting on her to bring me the food lol. She says the employees at jersey mikes said that a different door dasher came in and got my sandwich. I tell her that doesn’t make sense she is the person on my app and she called me the app shows she is there. She agrees and says she will get it figured out and we hang up. 5 mins goes by and I get a notification that there was an unexpected issue from DoorDash and I can’t get my food. I call the store and asked what happened and he said someone else had picked up my food so that’s why the lady ended up canceling. I asked him why didn’t they just make another sandwich and give it to her obviously she showed them the phone when she was there and someone stole my sandwich or they simply made a mistake and gave it to the wrong person. This guy said it’s a DoorDash issue which obviously it was a jersey mikes issue because you gave my sandwich away smart guy👀. Wth and at this time it’s 8:55pm and I can’t go up to the store because they close in 5 mins and now I’m hungry and trying to understand how my guy lacked the common sense to just make another sandwich 😡🤣🤣. Read moreI love Jersey Mikes, best subs around! This is a new location by my work. Not my normal JM by my home. 3 visits since they opened and two have been swing and miss experiences. Jan 6th ordered a sub through JM online app.The app reported it would be 45 minutes before I could pick up my sub. This was over my lunch hour and I could not wait that long. But I could not find a way to cancel the order with the app. I tried calling the store and no one answered. I drove to the store and the store was in chaos. When I got there I explained I could not wait that long to get my meal and they said they would get on it, but told me that they really did not have to make it for another 30 minutes. 20 minutes later and at least 3 people walked in got their subs and walked out with their meals. I then instructed them to just cancel the order and was told by the front person that she did not know how to do that. She went to get the manager who was also the only one cooking. (Two employees total in the store) He whined to me about not having enough employees and I should have known it was going to take this long. I walked out of there with no sandwich and a comment that I really am sorry but I will never be back to this JM again. I waited 8 - 10 months for this store to open and am so disappointed.
