We went for their wed $5 burger basket special. Pretty good deal as it comes with hand cut fries. The fries were awesome! The burger was great and seasoned well, cooked medium rare as ordered. They charge 50 cents for each veggie topping and $1 for cheese and bacon.
We had a new server who was being trained in and she did great for being new. I am sure she will be more polished soon but was friendly, offered suggestions, and she checked on us after we got out food, all the right things.
We live about 15-20 minutes away and will probably come back if already over by here or just to mix up the date night rotation. Prices for regular burgers also looked reasonable.
Update Already went back a week later on $5 burger basket Wednesday again. Burgers were good again. Had small issue but Things happen. I ordered a burger with bacon, blue cheese, fried onions and mushrooms. The blue cheese was missing and server never came back until I only had a few bites left. They took the blue cheese off my bill, but should have checked on us much sooner. Also felt perhaps comp one of our sodas or something else for messing up the burger. But it still was good so keeping my rating at 4 stars. My wife got her basket with waffle fries and seasoned sour cream.. They are legit just like the...

I stopped into Route 47 Pub and Grill on a whim for lunch, and wow—what a pleasant surprise! From the moment I walked in, the place had a warm, easygoing atmosphere. It’s got that perfect balance of cozy small-town charm and lively energy, with a great mix of people enjoying food, drinks, and the sound of live music warming up on stage for the evening.
I ordered the walleye sandwich after hearing someone rave about it, and they weren’t kidding—it was incredible. Lightly breaded, perfectly cooked, and served on a soft bun with all the right fixings. Paired with crispy onion rings, it hit the spot. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and made with care.
The staff was super friendly and on top of things, making me feel welcome even though it was my first time there. The menu had so many tempting options—like the Reuben, Rise and Shine burger, and something called the OMG Pancake—I already know I’ll be coming back to try more.
Route 47 isn’t just a place to eat; it’s somewhere you want to hang out, unwind, and enjoy yourself. Whether it’s for lunch, drinks, or catching a band on the weekend, this place is absolutely...
Read moreTook my friend who is visiting from another state to Route 47 after I had a good visit about six weeks earlier. This time arrived around 5 pm on a Friday afternoon and not many folks dining. Waited for a minute to be seated and no one came so we seated ourselves. Service came in about five minutes and our waitress took our order. We both had the broasted chicken dinner and it was great. Route 47 has some of the best broasted chicken around and highly recommend it. However, our visit was literally spoiled by a man estimated in his sixties who came by our booth to ask if he could talk with us. Told him he had 30 seconds but promptly walked away. He then went to another booth to harass someone else. Told the waitress about this guy and she apologized. Said management is aware and allows him to approach customers which I find is very troubling. No one who operates a bar/restaurant should allow ANYONE to actively solicit customers. Have no idea what this guy was peddling but a warning to anyone who plans on going to Route 47 this is taking place. Spoiled a good dinner and sadly we will not...
