Bizzee Bees Cafe & Pies — Restaurant in Spring Lake Park

Wanted to give a shout out and review to Bizzee Bee’s Cafe and Pies on University Ave.

I’ve wanted to stop since their opening and and by chance I finally stopped there along with my boyfriend this morning.

We were searching for breakfast this morning and we’re going to go to either IHOP or Denny’s; both were extremely packed so we chose to go look for another place. I remembered Bizzee Bee’s! We pulled up and I was so surprised to see that there were barely any cars in the parking lot. This parking lot should have been full of cars based on how my experience was!

Their food options were abundant, prices pretty good, and the food quality even better. The staff were so kind and helpful. I’m so glad those other big chain places were full so we were able to finally stop here. I would suggest you try them out!!! You get a free slice of pie with your meal!!! Let’s support our local spots!!!

“This our kind of cafe!” —my wife and I agreed. A seat yourself cafe and pick any of the many booths or tables, —your choice, —we prefer a booth by a window. Service was immediate and friendly. Wonderful anytime menu, so in spite of the late afternoon, I ordered Eggs Benedict and was pleasantly surprised that a toasted croissant replaced the traditional English muffin, —it was perfect.. But, as always is the case, I was green with envy for my wife’s choice, the incredible hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy my wife ordered. Generous (really!) in proportion and loaded with thick tender chunks of roast beef. And as a value-added surprise, we both had a free slice of pie from a list of favorites. Bizzee Bees Cafe will be our new goto place...

Finally had a chance to stop in here for brunch recently. Remodeled nicely and far cleaner than it's predecessors. Very knowledgeable and attentive waitress. Eggs Benedict was pretty good and we loved the croissant bread instead of an English Muffin. Far more flavor and make it much easier to eat. No knife required. My Biscuits and Gravy was okay but, would have liked to see more and larger chunks of sausage in there. Muffins were very moist and tender. Also like my hash browns browned more. Oh, these hash brown servings are HUGE! Really wished we would have opted for the additional cheese and onions. Both of our egg orders were cooked perfectly. Wasn't perfect but, definitely want to return to try out more of the menu....
