Updated review:
We came on a weekday, and unfortunately, the experience was very frustrating. The wait times were unusually long—we waited almost an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. It looked like there was only one person managing the front and waiting tables, which made service feel disorganized and overwhelming for them. A small but frustrating detail was that we requested raita multiple times didn’t arrive until after we had already finished our meal. We had also placed a to-go order when we first arrived, but that took an additional 30 minutes after our dine-in meal was finished. During our visit, there was only one other person dining in and one other guest picking up, who also mentioned they had been waiting over an hour.
I came in during a lunch break, hoping for a smooth meal, but instead it turned out stressful and disappointing. The food itself was not what we are used to lacking the flavor/quality we’re used to at this restaurant… not worth the long and disorganized wait. I strongly encourage the ownership to review staffing, quality and service operations at this location so guests can have a more positive experience in the future.

I’ve been a regular at Lahori Kabob’s Plano location for years, and their paya and chicken karara have always been my go-to favorites. But on my recent visit to their Frisco branch, I have to rave about the chicken biryani—it’s hands down the best I’ve had in the DFW area in years!
I remember coming here when they first opened in Frisco and things were still getting up and running, but this time, the experience was flawless. The food was outstanding, the service was great, and everything just hit the spot. The Saturday Buffet started at 10am… it was beyond amazing. They had pasta, halwa, channa masala, paya, nehari, chicken karara and more! Naan and puri hot and fresh!!! Love this place so much!
Lahori Kabob is one of the only two Pakistani restaurants I’ll ever eat at in the area. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic flavors and a memorable...
Read moreWent to this restaurant for the first time. They used to do a successful restaurant business under the name "ZamZam" in Los Angeles for numerous years. Their lamb/goat palau was very famous which they used to make it only on Fridays.
Owner told me reason for move was children who are settled here in Dallas. I asked why not continue under ZamZam to which I was told children liked the new name.
In terms of food, we ordered; chicken biryani, nihari, beef bihari kabob, naan, and tea. Everything was tasty and good except beef bihari kabob which I thought needed little bit more seasoning. I think price is little on a higher side compare to the portion of food. Customer service was polite, friendly, and fast.
What they really need to work on is the cleaning side and some basic customer service. We were sat and nobody asked for water or anything like that until the end when we were about to finish. Tables and chairs were dirty from previous customers and we had to clean it ourselves. There were dirty dishes left on the tables and even ours were not picked up in a timely manner.
As to why they are not making their famous Los Angeles palau here, I was told that they tried to make it in the beginning but nobody wanted it and they had to stop making it due to low demand. However, I was told that it can be made on order for at least...
Read moreWe came to the restaurant at around 12:30 with a party of 5. Pull into the parking lot, and automatically the sign of the restaurant is nowhere to be found. We end up finding the restaurant and seating OURSELVES and waited for the ONE WAITER who was serving the entire restaurant. We quickly decided what we wanted and placed our order. She told us that the food might take 30 minutes or longer and we said we were willing to wait. Around 2 hours later, the only things we had received was soggy masala fries, sour mango lassi, and 4 tiny chicken samosas. I had an appointment somewhere else and had to push it back due to all of this! After asking the waiter multiple times to just bring out anything even if it didn’t contain all the components of the platter, the cooks back there never sent us out anything. We ended up paying for the oily appetizers and left. 2 hours wasted, an extremely late appointment and still STARVING. We even saw a couple leave due to receiving the same service. Done of the aunties who were cooking back there kept yelling extremely loud about the food and seemed to be doing more yelling than actual cooking. Do not come here, I promise you will be...
