UPDATE Mar 2021. Still going strong after a year of virus mitigation. Although they can (Mar10th) stop having customers wear masks. I expet they will continue for awhile. UPDATE May 2020 Return visit after long absence. Too many great hamburger joints in Collin county. We made a special effort to get here for the adventure of seeing something new during Wuhan virus crises time period. One of the first eat outs for us where we could again sit inside especially in hot TX weather now. Just one way in/out. Limited menu but of course you just wanted burger and fries anyway so nothing lost. Drinks served in bottles/cans except one can get iced tea. Wear you mask while walking around. Several tables booths blocked off to give you social space. See photos.

June 2018 1st visit to this location. Its been ages since we visited any location; too much competition in Collin county for share of one's stomach. Still great first impression which was a new location we didn't know about. Very light traffic (in store) and fast service. We got an original and one jr with an order of sweet potato fries. Fries not as good for us compared to Smashburger and Liberty Burger. We plan to return to any location sooner than later. No open carry of firearms...

Alright I am going to preface this review with the context that I have been a frequent customer at this Scotty P’s location for over 10 years now, so I will be biased. Now I will be honest and say that the quality of the food and the quality of service cannot be understated when talking about this location. I have been hundreds of times over 10 years and each time I feel as though I am eating something for the first time that I have had numerous times over. Each time I am greeted immediately with a smile and an enthusiastic response from the cashier at the front desk, which I feel is the cornerstone of food service, a warm welcome and a smile. Now my favorite part and also the part that my bias is in full: the busers and cleaning staff. The busers there have known my family for years and have asked how we are doing every time we go, so far to the point where they know my family members names and have noticed when one or two people in our family were missing. This is a big reason as to why I love this location, the people here actually care about quality service and truly appreciate the clients they serve. I have not eaten Scotty P’s Hamburgers in over 10 years, frankly I thought it was one of the worst burgers I’ve had the very first time I ate here. However recently I was eating lunch with some coworkers who took me here, while I very skeptical of Scotty P’s at first, they won me over when I took the first bite. I got the avocado grilled chicken sandwich with all the fixens . While it was a messy sandwich it was fantastic; next time I will cut it in half and eat one side at a time to see if it helps be less messy. I did not bite into one fatty, or chewy piece which surprised me. My chicken was very juicy! The guacamole on it was freshly made, not anything store bought from a container. The fries were decent I wouldn’t say they stood out in any since, but they were bad either. Where I thought they really shined at aside from the chicken was their homemade ranch. While there are better burger places I think for the price. I feel Scotty P’s Hamburgers have redeemed themselves. Because of that more than likely I will be eating here again...
