Revisit Nori for their 4 year Anniversary. August 9th, 2025!
Happy 4th Anniversary, Nori Fusion Asian Restaurant! 🎉
For the past four years, Nori has been our go-to spot for fresh flavors, warm hospitality, and consistently exceptional food. Every visit feels like coming home — whether it’s dining in, catering for a work lunch, or enjoying their beautifully prepared party platters at home.
Their sushi rolls are always made to perfection, using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. And it’s not just the sushi — from curries to hibachi, every dish reflects the same dedication to flavor and presentation.
This anniversary visit was a true feast: 🍣 Spicy Tuna Roll & St. John’s Roll — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. 🥥 Indonesian Beef Rendang — melt-in-your-mouth beef in creamy coconut milk. 🌶️ Red Thai Curry — rich, aromatic, with just the right kick. 🍵 Green Tea & Thai Tea — the perfect finish.
Nori isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a family-owned labor of love, complete with a sushi bar, wine bar, and full-service dining. They’ve brought the best of sushi, hibachi, and Asian fusion to Jacksonville and northern St. Johns County, and it shows in every bite.
Here’s to the amazing owners and staff — thank you for four years of unforgettable meals and memories. 🥂 Wishing you many more!

Read moreWe were excited to have another hibachi restaurant on 210. We’ve been waiting to try them for almost two months. In short, don’t waste your money and time. I normally don’t complain online about food, but knew I needed to let my neighbors know. They don’t have hibachi tables. They didn’t have a wait on a Friday night! Never a good sign. They cook it in the back. We asked what the Steak is on the menu. She said the filet. I said not the filet, but the Steak. She had no idea. Best thing I had was the extremely small salad. I had to ask for extra dressing. The amount they brought was the same size as my salad. Way too much. Since they only had ginger dressing, the other three just got soup. Soup and salad are typical, but its only either or. I had shrimp and part of them still had the shell. Same for other two diners. They didn’t have any flavor. I got a salad instead of vegetables. You thought I was asking for a lobster tail instead of the salad. The other three got vegetables and said they had no flavor. The fried rice was gummy and the middle was white and gummy.
Waitress came over after we were done and asked us how are meals were. I told and showed her all of the issues and she thought I was kidding. She said really. I said YES REALLY. She said “oh let me see if manager is still here.” Manager came over and I explained all of the issue. He asked me what I wanted and I said a discount at least. I received a 20% discount. My wife and I had cheese and crackers when we got home. Son and his girlfriend went to McDonalds if that tells you anything.
In short, $81 including tip was not a great deal as my son was starving and ate his shrimp then the rest of my wife’s steak. I was starving and ate my shrimp. Son’s girlfriend and my wife each ate about three bites total. Based on food and customer service, we’ll never be back. Don’t waste your hard...
Read moreI ordered $60 worth of food through UberEats - priority. The restaurant took extra long to prepare our meal, the driver was there waiting. I ordered a Chicken and shrimp hibachi combo and a kids hibachi and both rice portions was the same. The rice tasted like it was burnt. There was also a very small portion of veggies - same size as the kids portion. I put comments to add condiments - none were added. I live only a few minutes away from the restaurant and when my food arrived it was cold as if it had been sitting. The driver came straight to my home (communicating the entire time) at no point should freshly made hibachi be cold in less than 7 minutes. I was really excited to try this place as I enjoy hibachi but it was overpriced and a complete waste of my time and money. I will continue eating Kazu.
In response to the owner:
The timeline of events were not detailed that way via the UberEats app- they sent repeated alerts stating the meal was taking longer than usual to be prepared. So I went based off the knowledge provided to me via the app.
You stated the reason the food was cold was due to the driver being late which is fine - however, the food was still cold and had no condensation which would make my initial statement accurate. No way freshly made hibachi should be cold in 7 minutes (sounds pretty logical to me)
My base total was $51.12 after taxes, fees and tip it came to $68.72 but okay.
Instead of being extremely sensitive and rude - going back and forth with customers you should listen and try to implement changes. No way I would send cold food out the door - whether the driver was late or not… ultimately it’s not the paying customer fault. Definitely lost an opportunity for a local influencer and good patron to return to your...
