Froagie's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Fryeburg

7/02/2025 - I finally went to Froagies today. I love soft serve coffee ice cream 🍦. I asked the girl if she could make the coffee taste stronger, and she did yum 😋 I had a waffle cone medium @$4.25 & my friend had a 3 scoop hard ice cream in a waffle cone with maplewalnut @$5,75 for a total of $10. We can't find his maple walnut ice cream in any of the grocery stores in northern Maine or New Hampshire 🤔

Advise, grab at least 6 napkins, 😆. It was hot and humid out today. We ate in the car with the a/c on and still wore some ice cream 🍦 on our clothes , lol.

Write the hours of operations down - 7 days a week from 11 am to 9 pm.

Don't panick if you see a school bus, lol 😆. It took 15 to 20 minutes to make over 50 orders, but we waited around the area Walgreens, then my home, then back to Froagies.

P.S. don't forget to tip these 2 women because they deserve it, He had $1 and some loose change, but I wish I had more money on hand. This world is turning to plastic money, so I was considered myself to be broke. Went to the window and told the server our daughter had a nut allergy. She told us our daughter could not have any of the ice cream, except soft serve. Our daughter was upset but has faced this before. So I suggested she pick one of the "24 flavors of soft serve" they advertise and offer. She was told no and that she could only have vanilla, chocolate or twist - none of the others. My daughter was very upset. I know the business has to protect itself but this was handled...

Great local spot. Very helpful staff/owner. Unfortunately I'm on a heart healthy diet and asked if the frozen yogurt was fat free. They actually looked up the recipe and ingredients to confirm. People don't go out of their way like that today but they did. And it was delicious, we'll be back. Some of the ice cream they offer is from a dairy in Attleboro Massachusetts I frequented when I was in high school in the 70s. Who woulda thought? Thanks for going out...
