Was here 1 week after it opened and can say that not sure if I'll be back. The concept seems good, but at the same feels like they wanted to have a club and tried to incorporate club like feel. I seen karaoke and was expecting to see people singing. They have karaoke rooms that you can get with bottle service purchase or pay per person basis. Cool idea I guess. Don't think I want to buy overpriced bottle of liquor to sing karaoke. Aesthetically pleasing. You get a cool Mexican, chicano, modern vibe. Again, put effort in bar area, black table tops like you find at a club. Now the food. Husband had the BBQ wings, he was disappointed, he said it seemed like they took them out of the freezer and put them in the fryer. The wings came as you see in the foto, no veggies with chunks of leafy greens paid $13. We tried the cocktail Agua Preciosa, ok, in other fotos the fruit seemed like it was edible, not mine. I had the shrimp cocktail, do not order if you don't like spicy. I was very dissatisfied with it, you had good base flavor, great amount of shrimp and avacado, but it was way too spicy. The cocktail was served with seasoned tostadas, which is a first, they did not have crackers as an option. I paid $13.95, which is not bad for a shrimp cocktail, but is overpriced if you can't eat it. The menu is all over the place. In the cocktail menu the descriptions in some drinks doesn't give you ingredients. I like to see what liquor cocktails have since I have preferences in liquor. I don't want to see rich and refreshing as a description. If you also see I paid $13 for wings, $13.95 for a shrimp cocktail, yet $15 for a drink, doesn't make sense. Lastly there were 3 parties in the restaurant, 2 parties of about 5-6 people and my husband and I. Both parties were there before us. We received our meal and ate it before one of the parties even received their drinks. The one thing I can say was excellent was my server Destiney. She would come and make sure we didn’t need anything and made sure to get what we needed when we asked. I believe the other server was great also, but people remember there’s only so much control these servers have. They can’t control that the bar is lagging, nor can they hurry your food if they don’t have enough cooks in the back. Don't think...
Read moreUpdate: This place was great as Ziller, but is now under new and terrible management as Cielo. We were charged more than what we were quoted and got interrupted every 5 minutes by different people forcing us to order more food and drinks. They repeatedly threatened to kick us out of the room if we didn't order more and more food & drinks. When we had enough and wanted to leave, one of the servers wrote down our card information instead of taking the card, which is against PCI compliance. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We've since found a new and much better karaoke place. I definitely would not recommend Cielo.
Great place! It was very COVID friendly with their private rooms. The staff was friendly; however, they told us to press the call button to order drinks, but they never came, despite having pressed it twice. When I went out to ask about the button, the bartender suggested I just come out to order instead, which was a bit irksome since they charge per hour, and I didn't really want to waste time taking drink orders and then waiting for them at the bar. We opted out of drinks in the end. I wish they had more song selections from musicals, but we had a great time overall and would...
Read moreReserved a room for 6 and had a great time! It's a Mexican themed karaoke bar where the atmosphere was fun and loud. The food looked like it was a Mexican Asian fusion but still very heavily Mexican influenced. Had an order of the chicharrones and they were great as well as their cielo salsa. The drinks were good and prices for food and drinks were reasonable. I would give it a 3.5 stars if I could just because it was fun, but the set up is not quality. The speaker quality was okay, the microphones were running low on battery by the end of our session and weren't projecting much, and the keyboard was unfortunately very tedious. We spent about half the time trying to get the keyboard to type in the songs. The worst part of it all... the ads! They use a YouTube account but it's not premium so they have ads. So on top of us wasting time on finally getting the songs we wanted up we would get ads before we could even start. We did have a great time and made the most of our session, but can't say we'd be returning. $100 for 2 hours for ads, not much air circulation, and low quality gear is a...
