Independence Park — Attraction in Fullerton

This park is in a so so neighborhood of Fullerton. You see cars parked in the lot with shady people. It has a playground, a work out area and a skate park. If it were located in the north or east part of Fullerton, I would feel safer but not at this location. I would not recommend this park to women unless you have other company with you. WOW! We just visited for the first time with our granddaughters (9 & 5) and will surely return. Checked out handballs for the court but next time will bring our own playground balls. They enjoyed the gym circuit equipment to start then the older one to the handball courts and 5 y.o. on the playground with slides and swings. Plenty of parking. We will definitely...

I used to love this place. They had huge trees but they cut them down super sad when I noticed. They have a skate bord little place on the corner but if you walk by the only thing you smell is weed. The playground is horrible. And is broken. Don't take yet your kids. I'll use it for my dog just to run on the grass. But that's it. So sad...
