We have visited this location once when it was Los plebes and then again under the new owners. The food is delicious and authentic here and did not disappoint. We were happy with all the food that we ordered, which is why we came back again. The servers here are also super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is definitely a family friendly establishment and we noticed quite a few of families, but also noticed couples and people out with friends and family. The only thing off about this place was that the pricing we received on the check from the items we ordered, was different from the pricing on the menu. We only noticed the difference because we had managed to save a menu on the side and were able to compare pricing from the check to the menu. It came out to about 10% more. We pointed it out to the server and the manager said it was because they were making a switch under new owners which is why there was a price difference in the system. They gave a ā€œdiscountā€ which only took off 4% instead of the 10%, but we didn’t want to further escalate the problem because it was getting late. Even if there is a difference in the system, customers should be charged what is advertised instead of changing it on the check without the customer knowing. If you visit here just make sure to keep a menu to compare pricing. I’ll give them the pass however since they recently did change owners, and I’d still be willing to visit again.

First time we went there, we were served by a cute cosplay looking waitress. (they should carry that theme) We had great food. Over ordered because we didn't know the humongous sizes. But we bought the leftovers home for next day's lunch. Second time, we got the Aqua chille which was amazing! The shrimps were very fresh. Amount of shrimps worth the price we paid for. The place reminds me a lot of Mexico. The 2 cute red chairs for occasions definitely brings a bit of Latino culture into OC. Looks like a fun place for large groups. The location is kind of off the restaurant track. They need some good social media promotion to get more customers.

Let me start by saying that the campechana cocktail was fresh and was a great portion. However, the fried fish we got tasted like dirt and we are not sure if its because the oil is not clean or why. The fish taco tastes the same and didnt like it was loaded with mayo and Chipotle sauce. Drinks were good. Jamaica wasn't too sweet. Chips tasted stale and salsa served could be better. The music didnt match the restaurant and our waitress was constantly on the phone and didnt bring our check to the table.

Went in to grab a quick bite, hours of operation are off. First it says 11 then 12am. Called ahead of time to make sure it closed at midnight confirmed yes.

As soon as we got there, karaoke is live! How fun. But the problem is the consideration of other customers eating and drunk people just yelling and shouting in the microphone.

My husband and his guy cousin were asked ONLY if they were ready to order but not me and his wife. Kind of weird, and tbh the food wasn’t great, the roll of sushi’s were MORE RICE than meat or shrimps…. service was shit to be very transparent. Our waiter didn’t really ask if we wanted anything else and only gave 2 forks for the gentlemen , and gave us women chopsticks but one was missing lol?? I don’t think I’d return, Sinaloense sushi is fire as were from there. BUT DEFINITELY...
