McDonald's — Restaurant in Fullerton

Let's see where do I start? Should I label this review. "Staff Stoned Out Of Their Mind"?

I pulled up to the drive thru to order. Halfway through my order I could tell that something wasn't right on the other end of the speaker. After every item ordered I recieved a long drawn out "Okay." My order wasn't even right on the board. They missed a drink order, but it was close enough. It was late, I was tired and I had people at home to feed.

Order taker completes my order and gives my amount for the first window. I pull up to the first window and there's nobody there. I wait about 60 seconds before pulling forward. Nobody there either, but the window was open. Another 60 seconds goes by before a young man steps up and fumbles with the register. Looks at me and stated what I owed. That's when I realized that he was stoned. Red, glassy eyes and that big grin that comes from being too high. You know, the lights are on but nobody's home kinda look. It took about 5 mins to fill the order. He came back to the window with the food and passed it back to me. So high he couldn't say anything. Left the window open then turned and walked away.

Of course there were food items left out of the bags. I parked, went back inside and that's when I noticed two other employees, one with that same glossed over high look. There was also a young man, (customer?) standing at the counter, with a big ole grin, talking with high employee number one. He asks "Did you forget something?" At that point the friend, customer bursts out laughing. You know like a stoner would for no reason. The stoned employee also starts laughing. I guess they thought it was funny on how inconvenienced I was.

This is why I frequent In N Out more times than Mc Donald's. In N Out has peppier employees that care about their jobs and their customers. Those with no personality, or can't past a piss test end up here at Micky Ds.

These kids working stoned are a liability to food and worker safety. The owner of this establishment needs to take his hiring practices...

There are many good things about this particular McDonald's. The restaurant is very nicely laid out, especially for a McDonald's. The convenience of the location and it being well designed, for 24hr drive thru AND inside dining, is a much appreciated feature!

As far as the design, the layout, the hours, the touch screen kiosk they have inside, WiFi internet, electric outlets for your laptop, or tablet, and the consistency of food that McDonald's is known for, this should be a five star McDonald's. Well maybe four star, after all it's not located in Time Square, or some place like that.

What is very poor, substandard in fact, is the service! It's like they can't get your order right through the drive thru, so you even have to go inside to fix it!

To be fair, it's not like they aren't trying, more like trying too hard and making way too many errors!

Plus, in my experience, no one is outstanding in customer service to offset these rookie errors, which is odd, given how well McDonald's training seems to be, except here, where it would only make sense you would want the best and most experienced, given everything else it had...

The best tasting and best service McDonald's in SoCal!!

We have been going ground all the different SoCal McDonald's to try to find a specific Happy Meal toy that our 3-year-old is looking for. No luck in all of them! They also all came back to say no to any request of exchangw even if the toy is unopened and we kept getting the same unwanted toy from them after a couple boxes. We didn't mind one or two same ones, but after 3 or 4 the same toys (and we ate all the food that came with it), we asked if the manager could switch out the next toy a bit at the next box. All said no and it's "random" (how random is it if you keep giving out the same toy time after time?)

Here is the exception: THIS manager is kind enough to say "fair enough. We have already sold you a couple happy meals with the same piece of toy that you don't want. Let's switch it up a bit so your 3 year old can be happy after all." They did not continue with this endless scamming practice that many other McDonald's engage in!

We are returning here for all our McDonald's need from now on, not just happy meals! This is the best McDonald's...
