Nick's Bagels and Espresso — Restaurant in Fullerton

The wait is a little much. They use yellow sticky notes to write your order down, which get lost in all the mix. That makes it harder to determine the order people came in the door. So your order can take longer and you will get your food way after somebody that came in after you did. I order to bagels and a strawberry banana smoothie I received my bagels not paying attention I left halfway home realizing I did not receive my smoothie. I went back and when I walked in I told them about my smoothie which the girl at the counter did not write on the yellow sticky. Having to prove you paid for something when there is no receipt with what you order is difficult. Finally received my smoothie both my bagels are now cold and machine instead of warm and crispy. Very disappointed I thought I would try a place that is 7 minutes from home but after this experience I will continue to drive the 35 minutes to Huntington Beach...

I go to this shop quite frequently. Its less then 5 minutes away from me and the owner is super nice. The price is higher then other bagel stores in my area but its close so more convenient for me. Unfortunately my last few visits haven't been ideal. They take phone orders before the customers inside the store. I get it, first come first serve and all that. But my last visit i had to wait 15 minutes for 2 bagels. I took them to go. When I got home I was disappointed to see that the bagels were much smaller then they used to be and there was little to no cream cheese on them. Its a small shop that probably isn't used to serving a lot of customers. Yes, I am still giving 5 stars. Out of countless visits over the last 6 years only 2 visits were less then spectacular. Been here a few times and I have never been disappointed. Always extremely friendly and attentive. There is one girl in particular that is there every time I come who is extremely hard working and dedicated. As for the bagels, I honestly can’t find anything better! As a New Jersey resident I am very used to the New York/New Jersey bagel but honestly nothing compares to this place!! Their bagels sell out extremely quick so come early while you can, went in at 10AM and got extremely lucky with getting the last everything bagel. Atmosphere 10/10, service 10/10, bagels 10/10!!
