Stonebridge Pizzeria & Pub — Restaurant in Funkstown

I got two pizzas for the first time from Stonebridge Pizzeria & Pub yesterday. After reading all the reviews I knew I had to try it. My oldest son is a pizza connoisseur, and he said this is the best pizza he's ever eaten. I can't even put into words how impressed I was by the taste of the pizza. The freshness of the dough, and the fresh ingredients are really noticeable. It felt like it was melting in my mouth. All the other local pizza joints around here don't hold a candle to Stonebridge Pizza. Once word gets around they'll need a bigger establishment, and parking lot, because it was full yesterday. They're going to be overflowing with customers once word gets around how amazing their pizza is! If you love pizza like my family does you NEED to try Stonebridge Pizzeria & Pub. I read previous reviews at how good the pizza was so of course I needed to try it. I got a large Hawaiian bbq chicken pizza. It was disappointing. Everyone has a preference on their pizza. But I felt it was overcooked and far too tough and chewy. The crust was hard and not soft. The toppings itself was good, but the crust was the let down which ruined the whole pizza for me.

I also got the steak and cheese. It was not cheap, but comes with a side (fries, onion rings). The steak and cheese was packed with meat and tasty. The fries were greasy, tasteless and soggy.

I got my order for carry out after calling in the order. I awkwardly stood there for about a minute before the bartender asked if she could help me. There was no signage on if I go to the bar or stand by the waiter podium which was not occupied by anyone.

A group of ten of us went on Saturday around noon. No reservations, but we were able to seat ourselves to the tables in the back. Bailey, greeted us and took our drink orders, told us the specials for the day and got us started with some appetizers. We ordered subs, burgers, wings and fries. Our food came out quick, despite being in the middle of lunch rush and having 10 orders. All of our orders were correct and served HOT.
