Taco Bell — Restaurant in Fuquay-Varina

If you're feeling nostalgic for their newly introduced Decades menu, reviving favorites from the last 60 years, SKIP IT! It does not live up to the hype - employees today do not know how to re-create the deliciousness of the past!

Corporate marketing worked and got me in there to relive a favorite from the 90s - a meximelt! The ONLY reason I stopped! This location was a major disappointment, sadly.

Slow, disorganized, lazy employees and failed to make item correctly! The person who appeared to be the manager/supervisor was the only one who looked like they were working! Other employees were just standing around aimlessly or chatting. No wonder the order was prepared incorrectly. Unfortunately we did not notice until we got home and had to drive back .... Only to be told refunds can only be done in the app if ordered on the app. So, don't use the app! What a waste.

Mexinelts were ordered on the app, presuming a quick & efficient process. Eta for pickup was 218. Arrived at 225, asked for mobile order & it had not even been started. Waited as more people entered store and drive thru. FINALLY at 252 it was ready. Only to get home and see that the seasoned ground beef was MISSING from the mexinelts!!! In it's place, many awful tasting raw onions. Not to mention it was SMALL!!! Rolled up about the size of a finger ... Maybe 3 bites, sadly.

These used to be bigger, about the size of a hand, FILLED with ground beef, lots of cheese and fresh chopped tomatoes, wrapped up and hot and melty inside. This was nothing close! Not even warm and melty and no meat!! It was more like a mini soft taco. On top of that, $8.97 for 3 tiny melts!

So disappointing when you have a taste for something and it doesn't match up. My girls have bragged about how great this location was & this experience just solidified my resolve not to eat...

Today we attempted to enjoy a peaceful lunch at this location. Unfortunately that was ruined when another patron (seemingly a regular) came in and began to talk with one of the employees while eating….which would have been fine except he began to make the most racist remarks about Puerto Ricans that it was jaw dropping. As I sat there with my Puerto Rican wife and half Puerto Rican son, the only people in the dining area, we simply could not believe what we were hearing. My wife could not stand to hear it any longer and politely spoke up to inform the individual that his comments weren’t appropriate and as a Puerto Rican she did not appreciate having to sit there and hear him speak so poorly of her entire race. The individual responded aggressively to her and began to speak very crudely about her as she walked to the bathroom. I spoke up and asked him to calm down and take it easy, that he was speaking very crudely to my wife. He jumped up in aggression and started to lunge toward me before stopping after take a few steps. It was ridiculous and sad. Unfortunately the employee there did nothing to help the situation. She did not ask the racist patron to leave, ask him to not make such comments nor correct his threatening behavior. We were left there in the dining area to defend ourselves. We picked up our food and left before the situation escalated any further.

This place is clearly not LatinX friendly. I would strongly urge you to find another Taco Bell location. One where you don’t have to subject your family to open racism nor the threat...

Stopped by on the way home around 7PM on a weekday. As I pulled into the drive-thru there were maybe two customers inside already eating and several workers mingling around. No other cars were behind or in front of me. My order was a single cravings box with no modifications. I pulled to the window, the employee working the register swiped my card, then I waited. Shortly after another car pulled in behind me. After several minutes the car behind me tried to leave but couldn't back out of the awkward turn so they were stuck. Around 12 minutes a line of cars had formed behind me and I was still waiting so I waved down the register employee and asked if they could refund my card so I could leave. The employee claimed they had just checked the kitchen and my food was being bagged as we spoke. It turns out that wasn't true because it took another 5 minutes before they handed me my order. That's 17 minutes total for a single combo meal on a weekday well before closing time. No apology was offered for the wait and I wasn't about to stick around and ask for one. The food was at least decent though half the taco was lettuce and there were only about 5...
