Hibachi Bowl — Restaurant in Fuquay-Varina

First time trying this location, high, high, maybe even super high hopes for the food. Wife loves hibachi (She'd leave me for a good hibachi place). We both got the Hibachi chicken, mine was with fried rice and all veggies. Hers with only broccoli and white rice. I will start with mine, fried rice is not rice tossed in soy sauce. Veggies to include broccoli should actually have broccoli and not just zucchini. Please for the love of all things stop cooking the proteins in high salt soy sauce. Hell I don't even like soy sauce. I tried some with the yum-yum sauce, didn't help. Tried some with Pete, even Pete can't save the day! As for the wife's, she wanted white rice. Apparently all they have is rice tossed in soy sauce. Like all their chicken they make drenched in soy sauce. She gave some to the dogs, our beagle mix will eat anything, like anything. You can catch him trying to eat the clay models they use to make the commercials food look good. He didn't...

Came here because always see a packed place...they did not allow indoor dining. I proceed to order anyway. My wife and I order and asked for NO mushrooms due to a severe food allergy. We received our food and the Terriyaki didnt taste like terryaki at all. All the meat was so over done it felt as if they cooked it and reheated it..there were crispy well done edges and it tasted awful. As for my wife.....you guessed it, mushrooms in her food. Had she eaten it....they could have killed her. When she proceeded back inside they refused and refund and made her order something else. She chose 2 items which was a difference or $1.36, which she refused to pay. You can not almost kill someone, refuse a refund and make them choose something else AND pay more. Smdh this place...

Overly disappointed. I have now ordered here three times. First time was just chicken and steak hibachi with extra white sauce, it was great! Ordered again for my husband too, two chicken and steak hibachi with extra white sauce, also added noodles and tempura calamari. The ”calamari” was absoluteLu gross! It was like breaded and fried rubber bands. Still liked the hibachi so I placed a third order tonight, 3/30/23. The garden salad shouldn’t be called a salad, it didn’t even cover the bottom of the container. I also ordered the Eel Roll, it was soggy and not tasteful, also only gave 1 packet of soy sauce. I additionally the hibachi chicken and steak with extra white sauce. Well, there was ZERO white sauce! I don‘t know about you, but hibachi NEEDS white sauce....
